Dude was a tough runner and unfortunately got misused by Moore who couldn't scheme a run game to save himself.

Funny that Moore somehow schemed Pollard's carries to 3rd best YPA in the league.

I will always be thankful he didnt wear the belly shirts
He didn't cause he couldn't. After his rookie season he let himself go and thats why he is where he is today instead of AP or Emmitt.

Young man grew up in front of us. Much respect, and much appreciation.

Glad we are moving forward, but still happy to have the memories.

Feed me!

Now if we can pair TP and Bijan....

Good for him for getting his money, and even if he decides to hang it up (though i don’t rule out him being back somehow some way) i super hope he’s got a pain free, perfectly mobile and healthy life ahead of him

Like seeing the Zeke love vs continued bashing. This was an inevitable move. Even when he slowed down the last few years, he still was a strong short yardage player. 24 tds scored the last 2 years is nothing to discount.
Apropos that Elliott was released on the "Ides of March"....because he is getting "assasinated" on his way out the door by a majority of fans (65-35 rough estimate on the three threads so far IMO).
"Cowboy Zoners, Dallas Fans, NFL Followers, lend me your ears; I' come to bury Ezekiel, not to praise him."

Zeke is one of the last of the old school backs. His pass pro was outstanding and he was a very willing blocker. So many touches his first four years. Ultimately, the physical nature of his play wore him down. 24.5 touches per game in his first four years. Wasn't the same after. Old school backs used to do that but the DL and LBs were a lot smaller then.

His days as a bell cow are over but he still has plenty to give as a #2 back that gets maybe 10-12 touches a game.

Seek single handily changed the face of this franchise for the better when he was drafted. He carried dak on his back for 3-4 years. The man was an absolute warrior and he was durable. Did a title of everything on the field.

By the way 8262 yards puts him 43rd on the all time nfl rushing list. Not bad at all.

If he could somehow get onto a team and average 700-800 yards for 4-5 seasons hed have a shot at the HOF.

Did his job and got paid. Hope he has enough to retire because I don't want to see him hurt/ humiliated.

I do believe he gave his best effort. It just wasn't good enough. Wasn't good enough for me! Wasn't good enough for you! Wasn't good enough for anybody! I wish him well.

P.S. Yes, I stole part of that little speech from "Blue Chips". lol

To this very day he is still the best short game running back in football. Something you obviously don't spend money on but anyone who brings him in will bring in a real warrior.
