People need to look at something besides sack totals. Hargrave was good....not VERY good, just kinda B good. He was not a good run defender. He knew sacks = money, so he went for them.

You can be a great DTackle, and only get a few sacks....and vice versa you can get a bunch of sacks and just be an OK dLineman.

I'm glad we didn't sign him.

2016 seemed good, too. Six years later we know Zeke was wasted, along with other talented players.
If they don't fix the qb spot, the result will be the same.

Um, I wouldn't call last year a failure. There's Hendershot, Ferguson, Tyler, Bland, Williams and some other guys we got in the draft who are question marks.

Jury is still out on Waletzko. But we signed enough depth so far, so we can take BPA.

They set themselves up perfectly for the draft by filling holes, or preventing holes, with above average players.

As far as I'm concerned, it's as much about what they're not doing as what they are doing that makes it a good offseason.

Still don't get all the hate for the Joneses.. they're doing a good job right now.

They did quite well last offseason given what they faced. I thought it would be MUCH worse, but they kept the core together, drafted excellent, and showed it with a successful season, that set up this year. Much easier offseason, and now we are loaded BEFORE the draft
