We definitely got better. What real option did we have at DT? This definitely shores up a weak point for us.

He's not a sexy pick just like Tyler Smith wasn't last year, but if he pans out, he will definitely make us better.

I'm not hearing any real concerns with this guy unlike Trystan Hill or Taco

For the most part players dont "fall" , other positions are being chosen, teams picks do not align with mocks, and fans thoughts.
Some players that go in rd 1 are just lucky.

atlanta taking bijan was silly, but detroit taking gibbs was smart.

I think Philly did fill spots and probably improved. However, I think we did as well. I think we addressed a position that's needed addressing for a long time, and I think we should be able to shut down the run better. Put it this way, I think the onus is now directly on Dak. The defence is built. I don't see a hole left on this defence, on paper. Dak should be able to have a lot of short fields. I expect him to take better advantage of it. Especially as the FO has a June 1 out next year.

the pick was too low to pick a qb, this wasnt a good qb draft imo. there are others still left they can get later.

What exactly are you expecting from rookies? Davis showed flashes of being a dominant DT and Philly had some depth at LB keeping Dean off the field. He'll start this year. He would have started for us last year. That was a super bowl defense and their depth is crazy and got crazier tonight. Dallas has maybe 2 guys who could start for them.
