OK, I want to do one and I'll settle for just the signing bonus. What they're going to do with a 75 year old rookie, but can still busta move when being chased, is their prerogative but I plan on spending that bonus quickly on cars, jewelry and women. Dumb is wasted on the young.
I was hoping that this was the year I get drafted as a kicker but once again no team wanted me. I am not getting any younger, lol.

Imagine being 22 years of age and you just signed a contract that puts about 3 million dollars in your bank account after taxes and paying your agent. Life is good for Mazi.

You might think 1st round rookie deals would be automatically front-loaded. Not that I care but it's interesting. Guess you could make a case either way.
Ruggs is a case for not front loading though the bonus money is really up to the team as far as structure. It sure makes deals easier since they slotted these guys. Lots less drams
Also the bonus money program for guys drafted later who out play their contract is a really good program. PPE incentives are huge for a late round pick. Diggs got almost 3 mil in his PPE

Thanks for the info sir...
It was really a great deal for both sides I think. Some guys have the bargaining power to force a team to pay a lot, others don’t. It kinda make it fair for everyone since it’s just based on draft slot. Sure took some drama out of signing rookies. I was shocked at how fast we got them all signed this year. Don’t remember ever having them all signed by beginning of may

Jonathan Allen got injured and they played Payne as a 3T a lot more. That's also how Ridgeway got playing time as the 1T.
That’s true but I’ll take all bets on him reaching those sack totals again lol

If you’re a regular at the Zone, you know that we don’t want to extend anyone. Ever. We could have Tom Brady, Jerry Rice and Lawrence Taylor, all in their prime, and we would be advocating trading them for future picks.
I think we've got to cut him before Year 4 when his base salary is three times as much as his rookie year. That's exorbitant.
