Methinks this former Wolverine DLineman will be a much better meal for the Cowboys.Or a little over 3m a year to be Burrito Mazi, Taco's cousin.

I was hoping that this was the year I get drafted as a kicker but once again no team wanted me. I am not getting any younger, lol.OK, I want to do one and I'll settle for just the signing bonus. What they're going to do with a 75 year old rookie, but can still busta move when being chased, is their prerogative but I plan on spending that bonus quickly on cars, jewelry and women. Dumb is wasted on the young.
Thanks for the info sir...Nope
First round contracts have been fully guaranteed
Thanks...I don’t think so for these small Rookie contracts .
Ruggs is a case for not front loading though the bonus money is really up to the team as far as structure. It sure makes deals easier since they slotted these guys. Lots less dramsYou might think 1st round rookie deals would be automatically front-loaded. Not that I care but it's interesting. Guess you could make a case either way.
Right. I don’t consider Mazi one of those top notch. This is a 26th pick contract. The top notch guys get picked higher thus higher contracts
Who said anything about playing QB?But that's not how you play quarterback.
Hopefully he ends up being one lolRight. I don’t consider Mazi one of those top notch.
Then his last year he'll ball out to price himself out of DallasA little over $3.3 M per year to take the D to a whole new level.
It was really a great deal for both sides I think. Some guys have the bargaining power to force a team to pay a lot, others don’t. It kinda make it fair for everyone since it’s just based on draft slot. Sure took some drama out of signing rookies. I was shocked at how fast we got them all signed this year. Don’t remember ever having them all signed by beginning of mayThanks for the info sir...
Payne sure did last year. It’s funny how a contract year tends to be most guys best year lolThen his last year he'll ball out to price himself out of Dallas
Jonathan Allen got injured and they played Payne as a 3T a lot more. That's also how Ridgeway got playing time as the 1T.Payne sure did last year. It’s funny how a contract year tends to be most guys best year lol
That’s true but I’ll take all bets on him reaching those sack totals again lolJonathan Allen got injured and they played Payne as a 3T a lot more. That's also how Ridgeway got playing time as the 1T.
Yup. Good points.Ruggs is a case for not front loading though the bonus money is really up to the team as far as structure. It sure makes deals easier since they slotted these guys. Lots less drams
Also the bonus money program for guys drafted later who out play their contract is a really good program. PPE incentives are huge for a late round pick. Diggs got almost 3 mil in his PPE
Well, you're not allowed to be a kicker. We don't want any of those this year.Who said anything about playing QB?
I think we've got to cut him before Year 4 when his base salary is three times as much as his rookie year. That's exorbitant.
