He was THE man. He was the best RB of all time IMHO. Look at some of those old tapes of the guy. Gale Sayers, Walter Payton, Earl Campbell, OJ were all good but Brown was better. Emmett and Tony Dorsett were my heroes and still are but Brown was better. RIP great one!!

May not be a popular opinion here but I think he was the greatest RB ever. He was a man among boys.
Passed away late last night, 87 years old. I'm with you, conner; greatest RB ever. Never missed a game in his 9 yr career.
Baltimore TE John Mackey says Brown once advised him, "Always make the guy who tackled you remember how much it hurt."
A lot of very good linebackers say he "was unstoppable."

Time for us to raise a glass and toast the great one, because there will never be another Jim Brown.

Wow. What a sad day. Flags should be lowered in his honor. The dude did more for his communities in one day than that one guy who got buried in a gold casket on live TV ever did in his entire life. Unfortunately good guys like him don't get that type of respect. :(

RIP Jim "Jack Trevor" Brown
