It will be everyone else’s fault if he stinks this year. Or he will get injured. I think they are playing with fire by running him that much. Has ruined a ton of QBs who weren’t great throwing the ball.
I think they have to dial it back and if they do is he the same game? Going to be real interesting they ran him so much he got hurt at the end. Same thing they did with Wentz.

If they had the most talented team they would’ve beat the Chiefs.
Not necessarily, the Chiefs really are the only team that can say the QB can make the difference. I have never seen any QB do what Mahomes can do to a defense.

When the Chiefs play again, watch for the change in the defense's poise when he makes one of those plays only he can make. They get happy feet and their hands start twitching. Mahomes gets in a defense's head and if they give him room to breathe, he can make them pay.

I'm not diminishing what Mahomes did because I'd take that QB performance any day. But for his standard they got off easy with him being hurt. He had 180 yards and 3 TD's. Mahomes was capable of putting up 300 and 4 TD's if he was healthy.

Hurts outplayed him that game until he fumbled. That was the game. Their defense didn't show up and it forced Hurts to put the game on his back and it worked for awhile. The run game for the Chiefs is what what the game IMO. Mahomes on 1 leg had 40+ yards. Pacheco and McKinnon had some effective carries.

But Jaylen Brown did nothing and the rest of them are inconsistent. Eagles lost because they goofed. Mahomes threw for 180 yards. The damage was done by the fact they couldn’t stop a 7th round rookie running back and McKinnon.
Yes, the Celtics choked away the series. It happens. More talented teams lose in all sports to lesser talented teams. Just like the 76ers choked away the previous series against the Celtics, led by the ultimate coaching choker, Doc Rivers. And the Heat are about to lose to the best basketball player in the world, Nikola Jokic. Jokic won't choke.

The Chiefs really aren’t that strong throughout the roster. They’re not bad, but it’s the top end that carries them.
And the best defensive minds in the game cannot figure out a way to stop the Mahomes-Kelce connection.

And the best offensive mind in this game for the last 20 years has been Andy Reid. Mahomes could not have landed with a better HC to help feed his need for creativity. Most of the new offensive plays that the Chiefs install every season are not Reid's, he lets his offense design them and thereby, own them. If I was an offensive player, Reid would be my first choice to play for and second place is a long way down the list.

I am not a Chiefs fan, Reid fan or Mahomes fan but when I look at what Mahomes can do and then Burrow, Allen, Herbert or Rodgers, the difference is eye opening. It's not even close between the best QB and those in 2-5 spots and that does not include Hurts or Prescott.

Hurts and Prescott aren't that different as QB's, what is different is their knowledge of the team that surrounds them. While they are the frontline, on that sideline is a huge difference in confidence boosting when the going gets tough.

Cannot separate the QB's from their coaches and this season both will have new play callers. And that change in play callers for Prescott was not his idea and he was not happy about it.

Not everything she is saying is true

But the overall point remains. The qb needs to deliver.
What do people expect a QB to deliver? A pitcher can change everything. QBs need help. In two playoff games that the Cowboys had the more talented team, they won. How many QBs beat the superior team in the playoffs? You'll see inferior QBs win games against superior QBs because they have the better team. Mark Sanchez comes to mind. Ask Joe Montana how it felt playing against a better Giants team. He delivered nothing. It's easy to look good when you have a stacked team and are 10 point favorites.

The hurts love is cute.
It's weird actually. Hurts isn't a pocket passer. He's not going to carve you up by dropping back and going through progressions. It's not what he's good at. He runs the ball and passes good when teams force him to pass. He's got a great OL and teams need to stop their run. If a defense can stop their run, he's back to the Hurts of 2021. The Colts were pretty much the only team to stop them last year. Another example is Lamar Jackson in the 2019 playoff game against Tennessee. Force him to throw into coverage. Game over.

everybody knows dak cannot pass the team to a super bowl , even the cowboys staff know it. Heck the team's own media team blasted him after the loss to the 49ers. But unfortunately the only one who decides on this is Jerry , who happens to be stubborn about his picked stars. Too much of Jerry's credibility and money has been invested in dak. People are getting "dak criticism fatigue " because they know he is staying and they are a bit depressed about opening the subject.
Jerry has bet the franchise on dak at the most important position. Teams who have elite Qbs overcome issues during crucial games , when the run stalls , or face a stout defese like the 49ers. All dak does in these games is fold. 12 points and these interceptions says it all in the loss in san fransisco.
I concur.

Sixers have their own issues Embid choked as well.

But the issue with the Celtics is this has been the case for 3 or 4 years now. Literally through 3 different coaches. That's how long it's been. It's like the Romo years....we talk about how talented we are but they consistently show us what they are but we refuse to believe it because of the names on paper.

Taylor has worked in various roles of Fox Sports 1 television and radio shows for quite sometims now (2016).

She is the sister of former Dolphins DE Jason Taylor.
Must be from Texas.....I don't watch fox Sports 1. That explains it. Too many Cowboy haters trying to up their ratings.

What a strange phrase, as if QB's play against one another. At the end of the day Mahomes did, what he usually does, orchestrates a come back. Both played well, one accrued stats and the other showed he has the x-factor ability to step up.

it's finally happened. Someone on planet Earth has finally quoted.... get this.... MIKE MARTZ....to validate their opinion.

Mike Martz.

last time I heard from him....he was explaining that in fact the Earth REALLY is flat....because when he's on a very long highway that's straight...he doesn't see any curve.

Hmmmmm.

I didn’t need it to validate squat. You were the one who can’t tell a QB who is only good because of the system they run. Not me.

What’s worse is we could have the 2nd best record in NFC and have to be on the road in playoffs. It’s time for NFL to change that rule.
You can't have a wild-card team hosting a game against a division winner in the post season.

Sure you can if they have a better record. NBA does it. Time for NFL to change their rules . It’s enough that an 8 or 9 win division winner in a poor division makes the playoffs but a 12 win team for example from a better division should get a higher seed.

No.
NFL is not the NBA, where half of all teams makes into the playoffs. And NFL teams don't play 82 games.
.
You can have all kinds of opinions on why your team is better, but it remains your opinion.
Opinions don't win in court. Facts do.
.
There are several reasons why a division winner can have lesser record than a wild card team.
.
Cowboys need to figure out how to win their division rather than making excuses.

The gap between the Cowboys and Eagles lies in the front office.

FS1 chose the click-bait and lazy reason and it's not surprising that those with an agenda here gobble it up like free popcorn.
