Would you bring DLaw back after this season?

Depends on how this season goes with and the other DE's. But right now I'm leaning on trading him or June 1st cut unless he will take an extension on a very team friendly deal. I don't see him doing that.

The Cowboys have a good DE corp and there is no reason to overpay or commit big dollars to someone besides Parsons. Big thing is how the other DE's looks this year. We will know much more next January.

I don't know. How is he going to play? Will he be injured? Will anyone else unexpectedly step up or and be able to fill his role? Will we run the same defense next year? Will we acquire via trade or free agency another SDE? Will we sign a huge free agent next year that will stress our cap and cause us to need to shed cap?

If he gets injured again, let him go for sure.
Also depends on the progress of Williams, or any other DE on the roster. How will Armstrong do as well.

It is something not be concerned with until 2024.

Can always trade for Chase Young. Then when he gets injured, stash him on IR for the year. Then there is Law's replacement. :lmao::popcorn:

Most likely this will be his last year.

Hopefully Sam Williams produces and is consistent enough this year to take the starting job next year.

There are even town renevations...and they depend upon the heart.

He deserves the right to be given his choice of where his own heart is right now. He still has strong tools.

My bet, with the presented question that he would just smile!

I agree but like I said earlier, DLaw does a lot of dirty work some players tend to shy away from in favor of trying to get their sacks. LOL...Sam just told us he wants at least 10.

i think you can let DLaw go to save that money which will go to Parsons. I think they have some who will be able to replace him, especially Williams and Armstrong, as well as the other new guys brought in.

Looking at the money, Dallas would be best served by finding a trade partner for DLaw next offseason. Lawrence on a 1yr $10M deal could be appealing to a team.

Too many contracts for younger players coming up for #90 to be on the books for the price tag, not that he isn't a good player it's just the business.
