The title of the Documentary is "Sex, Lies, and Video Tape". Jerry Jones has extramarital affair, lies about how he built the team of the 90's, and video tape exposes him saying "you get two for one" with Jimmy Johnson a Head Coach and GM, on Parcells ""Bill's not worth a [expletive],... to get this [expletive] stadium, I need to bring his [butt] in.", and his priority is to "be relevant".

I do not want to relive the deconstruction of the Dallas Cowboys into the Arlington Jonesboys.

Those six years before Jones bought the team we’re definitely the glory days.

How could you possibly not see him in any other light than this.

He has held one of the most cherished and revered brand in sports hostage because he only wants to win his way with all the credit going to him and it has cost us 28 years.

This despite getting unbelievably lucky getting two franchise QB’s in Romo and Dak.

He is a disgrace and why so many of us despise him. He is indefensible because he is selfish and arrogant.

Maybe you are too young to grasp what the team meant before him. If that’s the case that’s a shame. I think you would see him in the proper light.

No they weren’t. They were just in a losing slump. Landry had begun struggling once he lost White to injuries in 1986 with a 6-2 record. And never recovered with the likes of Hogeboom and Pueller at QB .

But with Tex already having his eye on drafting Aikman the foundation would be in place for a turnaround and renewed support from the fans.

And in those days if you weren’t having success on the field suffered at the gates . It explains why our revenue was down with cash flow running negatively about a million a month.

The fact Bum was losing money or a negative cash flow certainly didn’t hurt the Cowboys value as the 85 million he paid in 1984 culminating into 140 million in 1989. Quite a hefty profit for an iconic franchise some said was in trouble. Hardly so, they just needed to provide more hope and begin winning again.

On that flight down to Lakeway when the new owner and Tex were going to fire Tom, Tex complimented Tex on the tremendous label he had built with the revenue potential . And Tex reminded him that the foundation to the popularity and generating revenue revolves around the success on the field and fan support of the players.

If it's a real documentary I would imagine there is gonna be a lot of negative stuff as well...the White House, Irvin, Jerry/Jimmy feud, Jerry's affairs, ESmith's contract dispute, etc....so should be very interesting if that is the case. And then the positive aspect of winning through adversity. With Switzer practically putting the powerhouse team on auto-pilot and should have won back to back. We always knew this might wind up on a 30 for 30 and instead its a Netflix series. As I said, if it is unbiased, this has the makings of a pretty good series. Must watch TV.
