I can't believe we are going to lose a game or 2 because we don't have an NFL caliber kicker on the team.

There are 7 billion people on this planet. Nobody can convince me Aubrey is better then 6,999,999,968 people.
There are a ton of teams carrying two kickers right now. This isn't the time to find a guy. Right after cut down is.

He’s raw. He didn’t kick in college and only in the USFL.

Some coaching and he can be a guy that floats around the NFL.

Let’s be real though, there are about 5-10 solid kickers. The rest of the guys are just one year rentals and you play musical chairs with them lol
Spagnola (yes, I know how many feel about him) had a fairly insightful column on Aubrey about how Dallas' interest in him. I understand that some players don't work out the way you hope, but I'm interested in seeing how it plays out with him. Doesn't mean I wouldn't bring in another kicker to try in case it doesn't, just that I don't think the team sees him as some scrub it picked up because it needed some kicker competition.

Don't like how his numbers have been so far, but as been pointed out, it's tough to kick in Oxnard. I want to see how he does in the games before panicking.

Anybody seen Chris Boniol lateltly?
It would be necessary to pry him away from the Birmingham Stallions as their special teams coordinator but then the young bucks would be calling him an old man lol.

Im sure Brandon Aubrey wont be left alone for long. His current results would make him one of the worst kickers in the NFL on a percentage basis. Not to say he cant improve but for a roster this good, would be nice to have more reliability.

I didn't say the field caused him to be released. You are the one who said Maher signed in July when he didn't. He signed late in camp. In August like I said. You are the one who said you have never heard that Oxnard is a bad place to kick and I told you where you could hear it today and you run your mouth off and refuse to listen to people who are actually there. That's people plural.
Rambo, do you work for the Cowboys or are you just a wanabe?

The title to the link I posted said he signed in July but it was dated 2023. He actually signed on August 9, 2022. The Cowboys have been practicing in Oxnard for years and not once have I ever heard anyone say it’s a bad place to kick. Dan Bailey was lights out in Oxnard every year in training camp. Brett Maher never had problems there in 2018 and 2019. Someone on Mick Shots says it’s a bad place to kick and you used that as an excuse for Vizcaino’s struggles. Lol By the way I don’t listen to Mick Shots and could care less what his or anyone else’s opinion is on that podcast. Maybe the conditions have been tougher there this summer, but the other kicker wasn’t having nearly the problem Vizcaino was having. Kickers have to deal with all kinds of conditions. By the way, you need to calm down or I’m going to stop wasting my time with you.

How about that, August 9th. Just like I told you.

There has to be another Zendejas brother of one of their kids that can kick.

Supposedly they have six cousins that kick. There’s probably more kickers in that family than the Flying Wallendas have tight rope walkers.
