When the Cowboys start slow and the excuse is that Dak is just finding his rhythm

Right, and we'll watch Mahomes and the others who started LIGHT things up to start the season! I can see it now
That’s because Mahomes and a Rodgers were atrocious last season. They need to get back on track.

Our guy is in the zone and I won’t tolerate him even taking one snap that could put him in harms way…..not on my watch, nephew

The Cowboys' coaching staff made their decision and will have to live with it. Rust over risk I believe is what it's called.

Last night they lost DeMarvion Overshown and John Stephens to season ending injuries in a game that means nothing. What if the starters played and it was Micah Parsons and Jake Ferguson's names on that list instead?

Oh wait this is another pre-emptive strike on Dak Prescott. My bad.

I agree... he needs to take the whole season off to avoid injury. Better yet, he should just go ahead and retire now, and be careful he doesn't stub his toe on the way out the door.

THE THINGS THAT EXIST, ARE OUR EXITS out of the playoffs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lmao what do those have to do with preseason man?

Literally this is my point. Complaining about something that has nothing to do whatsoever with the actual issues.

Exits from the playoffs have nothing to do with preseason reps, so tell me why again people freak out?

It’s literally just us selfishly wanting to watch starters asap, nothing actually tangible in terms of its correlation with the end of our seasons.

So getting a series or two in a meaningless preseason game against a team playing vanilla defense without a gameplan changes that?
Dak has NEVER had to take a game snap behind the second or third string line, and that's the only reason he's still around.
He should have been drafted by Cleveland so his true abilities would have shown and he'd be out of the NFL by now.

I guess you missed his entire 2016 rookie preseason when all Dak did was take snaps behind the backup line. Romo didn't get hurt until the end of that preseason.

So the only reason Dak is still around is because he's not getting pounded into submission before he can even step into his throws? Interesting take, I wonder why the Cowboys haven't caught on to this over the past eight years.

I swear you guys will cling to anything to the point you just make stuff up.

The argument this year that a few series in preseason doesn’t make a difference is respectfully, BS.

Either we are running the same Moore offense or close to it and additional reps aren’t needed. Or if coach Mac’s offensive changes represent a real difference, then any reps is good reps particularly with the offense.

So much fear for injuries is laughable to me. We will have injuries every single week. Who cares. Buckle up and play with whoever you got and leave the excuses behind. Injuries, refs and any other weak sauce.

Yo hold up……the HOF Jacket isn’t ready yet

Just remember that he was allowed to sit through the preseason.
No excuse should be allowed. Every game in the NFL season is important.
YUP!

Just Like 2020 when he didn't play since week 5 the previous year and came out and crapped the bed vs the world Champs on the road!!!!

oh wait.

Nope. Romo was injured in the first 2 minutes of the August 25th game against Seattle. Dak finished that game then played the entire final pre season game against Houston.
