Cowboys should look to buy low on Trey Lance

he has been terrible. He looked like trash in the preseason game. I would give 6th for him. Nothing more than that.
Purdy is the guy the niners LUCKED out with. Its a shame because they gave the farm to get Lance and he is garbage. Yet nobody in here will say Lynch stinks. Nah. hes a great GM and we woul dbe much better if he were our guy.

They just lucked out on Purdy, the last damn player taken in the draft. And like Dak, Purdy would have never sniffed the field of Jimmy G and Lance werent both injured.... so tell me more about how great Shanahan is when a guy that could end up being an all pro would have wasted away on the bench if not for injuries. Another example of how drafting qbs is mostly a crap shoot..... unless you get Payton Manning.

Did you actually watch Brock Purdy play before getting injured? he played like an all pro prior to the Cowboys game. Here is some evidence:

Mike McCarthy was instrumental in Aaron Rodgers development. Why not take a swing if the price is low? The Cowboys need a contingency option if Dak fails to get it done this year with a stacked team.

More incentive to trade away as if cut his cap hit jumps up to 14mil(5 mil over his current cap hit of ~9mil)
If traded, his dead cap is only 5.5mil this year saving them 3.7mil in cap space this year.

It’s not about how good or bad he played. At the end of the day he doesn’t have much football played at a high level. Maybe he’s the next Brady. I’m saying right now Trey Lance should be starting over Purdy and Darnold. Especially since Purdy is coming off a injury.
