Can we talk about Chris Collinsworth?

What a great win last night. I loved every second of it. With that being said. Can we discuss how Collinsworth gets away with blatantly disrespecting the Cowboys every time he comments on their games?

If I have to hear about the OBJ catch one more time I may lose my mind. It was years ago and they lost that game. With that said all he kept saying pre game and during the game is how good the Giants were. At one point he said the Giants added a bunch of new weapons for Daniel Jones and that they would be the fastest team on the field. Maybe I am overreacting but its been years of this and I am honestly at the point where I may watch the games on mute when he is in the booth.

l would not blame you at all if you watched the game on mute.

I know most of us are Cowboys homers, but the one sided comments get old and tired after awhile.

If you have a dvr/pvr you might see if you can sync up the radio of Sham & Laufenberg. It won't work if the radio is ahead of the tv. KBST is the station on the internet you might try.

My only gripe is the OBJ catch. It's not, "The Catch" that won them the NFC crown. Hell, they lost the game. Yet it's revered as some game changing catch.
Hell, Madden literally had it as their cover/animation for a year.

I expect the annoucers to talk about both teams, and try to spin some talk in a beat down in a positive way.

TBH, I couldn't hear him at all last night over the crowd where I was, but I've never considered him biased against Dallas, or any other team. He gets loud and talks too much, and sometimes out the wrong end, but he just seems to love watching great players play.

Collinsworth was very effusive about the Cowboys last night. He was drooling all over the defense, for example. Some of you guys really live in this Cowboys bubble. I thought Collinsworth did a really nice job last night. He can't kiss the butt of the Cowboys the entire game. He's gotta say some good things about the opponent too.

Oh and his comment about fastest team, he said the Giants THOUGHT they would be the fastest team on the field. That their offseason goal was to get faster.

It’s always compelling to talk up a “David” storyline and the Cowboys are easy to paint as a “Goliath” with JJ, the death star, 5 SBs, the star, franchise net worth etc… he was just trying to focus on some positive storylines for NYG, and by the end, he could do nothing but talk about the carnage and bloody remains of the GMen lol
