Aikman and others do the same thing. It is part of the way it is done. They have assistants handing them facts about the player as soon as he makes
the play. They dont have all that memorized

You could never tell, you'd think they watch every game and every player

If you can get it and it’s on for the game check out the manning brothers show. Interesting to hear especially Payton’s calls on what he would run and both of their comments on what plays are working

Also Payton uses actual QB language re what he would run

I like the Manning bros telecast but i miss out on some of the game watching IMO. It would be a nice thing to watch though after the game aired or a game I didn’t care about.
