Twitter: Zack Martin added to injury report

Pull back from the ledge. Forget it, JUMP!!!
It seems there's a misunderstanding...I don't know if you misunderstood me, or I'm misunderstanding you, but I'm not on any ledge. I was being facetious.

This sudden onset of injuries leads me to believe that this upcoming game with the Jets may be far more difficult than first expected. :omg:
Of course, that's not really destined to occur without the possibility of things changing for the better. Anything can happen and does!

I predicted Dallas 31-13, but that was before the OL all decided to take the week off. :muttley:

Told y'all it was a mistake getting rid of Matt Farniok. Should have kept 10 instead of 9 O-linemen for this very reason. This Oline is always getting injured. Dumb but greedy Cowboys front office doesn't learn. Idiots.
Good news. He's on a practice squad so we can sign him to the active roster if needed. My guess is that's not happening. Like @Carson said, there's a huge shortage of quality linemen in the league and the best he could do is another team's PS. Should be a red flag...

No. What's going on here is Jerry siding with Dan Quinn to allow him to have way more D players at key positions than normally needed. We all see it while other key positions are less stocked.

Farniok was pissed that he was cut. Can't blame him. Looks like time has proved him right.
So, Dallas thought Farniok needed to be on the practice squad, which angered Farniok, so he didn’t sign here. Then, he’s a free agent for a week and finally, a bad team signed him to… the practice squad! And that proves him right?

Okay man.

I don't understand the Farniok regret here. 31 teams could have claimed him off waivers and none did. He regressed badly in camp and was horrible in the preseason; yet had an unrealistic vision of himself. Once he realized that he went to the Bears' PS since he already burned too many bridges to come back here.

People will argue that Brock Hoffman was just as bad and they are right. The difference is Hoffman recognized he's a practice squad player and Farniok did not. What I don't understand is people are acting like the Cowboys cut the next Larry Allen or something.

Nah. Jerry caved and favored Dan Quinn to overstock at several D positions at the behest of the Oline and others. How is that working out now that both starting Guards are injured? You'd best hope no other starting O-lineman goes down with injury.

So far it led to 7 sacks, 2 defensive touchdowns, forced fumbles, constant pressure and a 1-0 record while holding the other team to zero points but yes it’s a long season.

Of course this discounts the fact that most teams don’t have a wealth of depth at offensive line.
