Practice? This happened during practice?. He said practice.
Dudes blow out knees on non-contact plays for no apparent reason, forget just running a basic coverage play in practice like Diggs. Teddy Bridgewater? Like, how do you mangle your knee just standing there patting the ball?

The guy that invents a device that stops ACL tears will print money, as well as the surgeon that figures out how to repair/rehab an ACL in 8-10 weeks. I don't thing we'll every see either one.

what winning team competiting is gonna have a quality starter that they are willing to trade ?
The potential trade wouldn't happen now, the season just started and everyone is still in the race. Others have already mentioned but I think waiting for the trade deadline to target someone on a bad team with no playoff hopes would be the way to go.

Remember 2014?

Sean lee was by far our best defensive player. He got tangled up with Martin in practice and tore his ACL. It was doom and gloom here! But we had a great season 12-4. It ended with the Dez catch and robbery in GB.

If the team can stay fairly healthy from here on out I think things will be okay. The Eagles and 49ers don’t run a lot of 3 WR sets. We will be okay with Gilmore and Bland starting if the front 7 stays healthy. Don’t lose hope let’s see how week 5 goes vs SF.

Why wouldn't Bland and Lewis cut it? Is there something wrong with them?
Nothing wrong with them but they're not Diggs level players and Bland has limited experience as an outside CB. I'll need to watch him perform and do good on a regular basis at this position to feel better about our current situation.

If anyone can turn around this bad break into a positive is DQ.

I trust they will scheme around the issue and come up with some good defensive play still.

Now, more season ending injuries and we will be in trouble, first Oshow and now Diggs, two guys I was eager to see this season, I'm a bit heartbroken, NGL.

It is heartbreaking, losing players is part of football but we're so damn unlucky all the time. They'll both be back next season but will we be able to keep everyone including key additions like Gilmore and run it back? I hope so but that's what worries me the most honestly, that this year's loaded defense could be a one-time thing.

The panic button is reserved for Micah Parsons. Everyone else is expendable!
Exactly...............everybody else on the team, even Dak, can theoretically be replaced without a significant drop off (Cooper went 4-1 last season).............except for Parsons.

I predict this dooms our season.

6-7 wins.
So we are only going to win 4 more games the entire rest of the season because we lost one CB:huh:

We may not beat the 49ers or the Eagles, but we dam sure are beating sorry arse teams like the Cards, Giants, Chargers, Panthers, and Patriots with their combined record of 1-10.

Take a deep breath bro and look at the schedule, the season is not over.

After we win the Super Bowl, we"ll have Diggs and Overshown returning for a return run. I"m cool with that.

Why would doing 1v1s increase the chance of injury? CBs do 1v1s in games all the time. Also, having more players on the field just statistically increases the chance of injuries due to there being more players.
