News: MRI confirms torn ACL for Trevon Diggs - Post 263

Lol how is it pathetic? Some things will always take time to recover
I’m talking from a healthcare perspective. I’m a PT and 5 years ago I read some data of a new procedure that would repair an ACL within a few weeks. 5 years later and nothing has moved forward…

ACL injuries have a come a long way, it's catastrophic damage to the knee.
It’s really not. An ACL tear is pretty clean assuming there’s no damage to the meniscus or other ligaments. It doesn’t damage the knee, just makes the knee joint unstable until you repair it.

That sucks. :(
It sucks for him as a player, it sucks for his team mates, it sucks for us fans and frankly it sucks for history. Because suddenly all of us have lost a shot at seeing what truly may have been one of the all time greatest defenses in NFL history.
That really really sucks.

Where this really hurts is that Diggs is one of two guys on the defense who can go from defense to offense by making a play. Other than Parsons, no one else on the defense has that kind of ability. The defense can still be very effective, but there will be less playmaking capability.
