If we can we have a great shot to win.

SF is not as good on defense. They lost 5 defensive contributors in FA. They brought in DL help but the back 7 has taken a step back. It won't be easy but it will be easier to score.

The game has the feel of one where the first team to 20 points is going to win. The problem is that SF is going to get there too easily if we cannot stop the stretch.

Yes.

The 49ers offensive line is not nearly as good as they were last year.
The average pff grade for the 49ers offensive line outside of Trent Williams is 49.

This is why the 49ers constantly lose when they go up against team who have stout defensive lines and can put points on the board. Shanahan's scheme is solely dependent on the A gap not getting pressure (like everyone else). This is a game that if we lose I believe will be solely due to our offense. Like last years playoffs. If Tyron Smith does not play I think we lose a close game, if he does I think we win a close game.

I think he will more than likely torch us in the pass game, our LB's have a lot to be desired. I think it's a given the 49ers score ableist 24, the thing is can we match it? They don't turn the ball over, and we don't really do it either.

I don't see why not we did it last year?
That was last year and we got torched on the ground by the Cardinals this season. Our run defense is still an issue. We have a tendency to overrun plays with our defensive speed, and when you do that against McCafferty he can kill you.

Man it will be a dog fight.....You stop CMAC, then Deebo or AiYuk will go off... gonna need the offense to play ball control and keep that offense off the field....but I think the OP is right....20pts might win the game......

I'm just worried about stretch/counter runs and those passes in playaction. Misdirecting our LB and trapping them inside has seen a lot of success including against AZ. That is all part of SF's game.

Our game is obviously to jump out early via whatever means be it offense, defensive and special teams scores. At that point our defense can play downhill with our pass rush and the offense can just start churning out safe drives that end in points.

We will be in trouble in those games where we don't get that early lead like the AZ game.

WE WILL FOCUS SO MUCH ON STOPPING HIM THAT AIYUK or some unknown player will go off on us!!!

McCaffrey has been too hot, so I don't see him getting shut down especially with Trent Williams run blocking Parsons. However, if DQ tweaks some personnel they could..I just don't think he will in a regular season game.

We let a bunch of hooligans from the Cardinals (aka Dobbs, Conner, and Moore…basically their entire offense) run all on us so stopping CMC would be as likely as me winning the lottery

49ers are like a way stronger version of the Cardinals. Strong, fast, and physical. They’re not like the Bills or Chiefs who have other strong suits. We fall flat against strong, fast, and physical almost 100% of the time. It’s why we lost against them for the last 2 years. Deebo, Aiyuk, Kittle, CMC? We don’t have the players to stop that.

Bosa alone is enough to stop this putrid offense.
