Caleb Williams will leave USC for five teams. Cowboys one of them

There is a growing continent of draft gurus that believe Shedeur Sanders projects to the NFL better than Williams.
Sanders is another great QB prospect. I think he probably stays at school another year. Barring injury, he's a top 10 pick for sure when he does declare.

Woll never happen. But the mind boggles at the possibilities
Raiders could happen.

Niners and Cowboys are among the top 6 teams in the NFL. And the Vikings and Giants will finish middle of the pack. The Raiders are the team with the best chance of being in the Williams Sweepstakes, unless the Vikings do a major trade to get him. Cousins is on a one-year deal this year.

USC QBs haven’t faired very well in the NFL. Mark Sanchez, Matt Leinart, Sam Darnold, and Carson Palmer. Palmer was a good QB, but didn’t win anything. He had a 1-3 playoff record.

Matt Cassel(17,508 yds), Rodney Peete(16,338 yds), and Mark Sanchez(15,357 yds) rank 2, 3, & 4 for yards thrown in the NFL by USC QBs. All three got playing time in Dallas at some point in their respective careers. Maybe Williams will too some day.

You’re pointing to Matt Cassel, Rodney Peete, and Mark Sanchez as USC success stories in the NFL? Lol None of them became franchise QBs. They were average at best. You would be happy if Williams had the same career with the Cowboys those QBs had in the NFL? Maybe Williams will flame out in the NFL and we’ll pick him up someday. Lol
