Broncos releasing Randy Gregory

Broncos gave him $28M guaranteed in 2022 on a 5-year contract. Looks like $16M dead cap hit next year. Ouch.

I wonder when the Broncos finally dump QB Russell Wilson.

Might as well dump all the loser contracts and eat the dead cap and get it over with.
Russell Wilson has been a top 5 QB in the league this year. Bronco's stink but it ain't because of him. Not this year anyway.

All the worry about signing him to a new contract. LOL.

Learn from it. He was a bum.

Laugh all you want but he's milked two NFL teams of million$ while barely bothering to put his blunt down and tie his shoes.

While Russel Wilson isn't as good as he was with the Seahawks even in the last year there, he hasn't been bad this year. They could do worse at QB the problem is the price to get him and pay him and the expectations were through the roof.

..wow, one of best decisions front office made ridding him.

I admit, I was on the fence about it. Once we got Micah, everything changed.

Resign him, he still can be effective rushing the passer. You can never have enough pass rushers.

Dallas made a smart decision by not resigning him.....a rarity...
Yes, but they tried to sign him. He didn't like some of the language in a contract very similar to what he signed in Denver. Sometimes you get lucky.

Unless bleeding heart Jerry comes out, why would they in their right minds do this? They spent 5 years giving him numerous chances and he all but spit in their face over some wording in a freakin' contract.
A minimum salary for bendy player. It won’t hurt the team.
