What if Arizona decides it's time to move on from Kyler?

His mobility and ability to make plays makes him one of the few if not only QB's I can think of that might be attainable and who might actually mesh with our offensive strengths & weaknesses.

I know Kyler has apparently been less than dedicated ..... but sometimes a wake up call like getting traded can get a guy going.

I don't know about the financial ramifications but I can't imagine them to be too severe IF you truly can get a QB with experience and the skills to help your other players thrive.

Yeah. Dak ain't going anywhere for 2 years with his contract anchoring him here. The only option for change is to draft the best available qb and give him as much game time as you can. Rush and Lance are not either the short term or long term answer.

Extend DAK's deal and TRADE HIM/BENCH HIM/ Draft a qb higher in the draft to COMPETE!!!!!!

No. You answered it in your 3rd line. No.

Out of the frying pan into the fire.

No way. He is not a good guy. We don’t need that in Dallas. It’s Lance and a draft pick to find the next QB.

Don't see any way its possible that you could take on Kyler's contract and still have the cap hit from Dak the next two years.
Yeah, you could take on Kyler's IF you could get the out from under the burden of the burden. But only so much we can get away from.

Guess it's time to force the issue and give Rush & Lance playing time. Maybe swing for the fences on a draftee.

How come these other teams can seem to move away from big contract failed QB's like Goff and Wentz but it's always we are stuck with what we have?

Like I said, you would be hoping for an improved version. But man, imagining him kill people with his legs and buying time to make plays downfield is really intriguing since we have a lot of things going for us on the current roster.

man with kylers insane work ethic on the xbox coupled with the dallas culture thatll be something to see

They can convert Jaylon's former office into a state of the art Call of Duty resort for Murray.

Ehhh.

Pass.

I think if they move on from Dak, it's going to be with Lance as QB and a rookie drafted for a few years while they swallow the two dead money hits from Dak.

The league only likes to trade with us when they can have their way with the Jones boys.

Honestly, I didn't think anyone would trade for Wentz after Indy but somehow he had interest. I can't imagine anyone trading for Dak at this point, but all it takes is one thinking they can make it work. Regardless, we wouldn't get much back but just moving on would be a WIN at this point.

Goff is thriving. Good for him.

Yes, let's compound the problem with a problem child.
But a problem child who can run & make plays.

We aren't in a buyer's market. We will have to look in the damaged goods bin if we want to get a vet who might allow us to compete while the roster is pretty good.

Yea exactly, just getting relief on the contract would be compensation enough at this point. I wouldn't even ask for picks because nobody is going to give them for Dak anyway.
