Are our receivers the issue?

As the week went on, we started to see more and more “analysts” and media members doing “film review”, and a lot of them came away with the notion that are receivers arent winning on the routes and are getting locked down in man coverage.

Ceedee has been getting slandered all week by dudes like Richard Sherman and Dan Orlovsky saying hes not a real number 1.


What do yall think?
 
I heard someone mention how they're not getting much separation, well damn, when do the Dallas WR's ever get separation? Have we not assembled the greatest bunch of WR's over the last several years. A cat like Dak, needs guys to be WIDE open to be successful. We need to draft and sign all quick shifty guys that can get open easily

The taste only getting worse is what is needed.

If the taste gets better you can expect business as usual.
 
its just crazy to me that “receivers not getting open” has been the excuse going on 2 years now.

I find it funny that when the offense look good, you never hear about the receivers being a problem but when we lose and Dak looks bad, you hear the receivers and scheme is bad
 
No receiver is going to win at a high rate when defense knows the offense has a limited playbook and they can easily pare down the route tree even further based on down & distance.
 
IMO
1.Gallup never fully recovered mentally or physically from the ACL.
2. CDL is a #1 that can take himself out of games mentally.
3. The QB is an issue.
4. The playcalling is an issue.

I think the Cowboys receivers and offensive line is fine. When the Cowboys decided to feed CeeDee the ball against the Jets he was unstoppable. I think we know what the issue appears to be sadly. :thumbdown: :facepalm:

We had Rush in and he won 5 of his 6 games with the same offense. Oh, so the defense won those games? Same goes for the other guy then I guess.

Nobody says he's better. Maybe the homers will understand that some day. But it's time for a different approach. Just because that COULD be worse doesn't mean it shouldn't be done.

I can see it now: we win against LA and Dak's the greatest QB again. Yay.

it wasnt same offense and Dak did well too. Im on board will you guys quit whining? I doubt it! this team is going to win just enough games to be relevant again Jerry isnt going to be pulling the trigger on trade that brings Patrick Mahomes. theres more than just the QB here thats inconsistent
 
Does anyone know *** a team is anymore?
