So, Purdy and Hurts were both bad today.

I’m sure there are already excuses being made in this thread on their behalf because those two players are critical to the anti-Cowboy faction here at CZ.
It doesn't change the fact that Dak is who he is. He's not getting better.

Purdy and hurts both have better teams and coachjng around them. They played like dog poop today. But I have never seen either of them this bad. Dak reaches a new low all the time

Exactly. Jets really blew that. Fortunately for the Jets they lucked out, but it could've cost them the game.
They couldn't burn the clock. Eagles had two timeouts. The only way any (not nearly enough) clock is burnt is if the Jets settle for a FG meaning the Eagles only would have needed a FG.

At best (barring a penalty) you kill 10 seconds and 2 timeouts, and still score a TD. Scoring a TD is far from guanteed.

You absolutely, 100%, take the TD in that situation.

To all the 49ers and Eagles fans that were laughing their butts off last Sunday night at the Cowboys:

Today's for you.

Not for you!
I enjoy close football games. Losing isn’t ever as good as winning, but it always has context. What’s the worst thing that happened today? We went from runaway #1 overall seed to not runaway #1 overall seed?

Guess I’ll have to settle for 16-1

Yes and no - I dont trust Wilson with a first and goal from the 1 - the guy is an idiot.

I go with the strength of their team - thats the D.

But yes the correct call is to go down and make the eagles use TOs.

The Eagles looked dominant last year, though not against Dallas who played them to a draw. Each winning at home in a close game against a backup QB.

This year they just look like they find a way to win each week. Until today. Maybe it means something or maybe they go right back to finding a win every week and this is just a speed bump.

This eagles loss to the jets says a lot about Dak and the cowboys. Hurts got outplayed by Dak who whooped the Jets.
And pj walker played better against the niners than Dak did. It doesn't really mean much.

If hurts and purdy continue to struggle going forward, then it means something.

Look harder. See how the Jet and Browns played today? That’s how it’s done. No one here cares about the Eagles and 49ers. Concentrate on the Dallas Cowboys.

Yeah I don't get this desire by some of the pro-Dak fans to try to justify Dak's suspect play at times by trying to point out how bad this guy or that guy looked at one point or during one game.

Hurts sucking today doesn't suddenly change the reality that Dak probably isn't good enough.
