We need this dude to shore up the defense. I don't recall him making any kind of impact on any of the games so far. Im wishing he'd be another Russell Maryland .

He gets rotated in, and I doubt is part of any passing down packages.

So, you're not going to see him get 60-70%+ snaps at this time, especially with Hankins playing alright as an established vet.
McClay sold him as a year 1 player but I think it's going to be a year or so of development for him to put it all together and hopefully be a force.

It's the Cowboy 3 year learning curve for DTs.
I think the same learning curve applies to the TE drafted this year too.

According to PFF grading through six games:

Mazi Smith – 48.2 (97 snaps)

Obviously there is hope and a long way to go this year, but if he doesnt look much improved by next training camp, the B word going start in multiple threads. I pick next summer because players make their biggest jump in ability between year one and two typically.

Vegas just posted the odds for DROY honors.

So many names.... even a Day 3 linebacker on the Rams (the he is a VERY longshot).

Mazi not even on the list. Vegas probably never heard of him.

Jalen. After and Devon Witherspoon are head and shoulders above all others.

They both could be Defensive Player of the Year in mear future

The mazi troll has arrived. I see you're not making up lies anymore. That's a good boy
