If Mazi was told the play that the offense was running just prior to the snap he could probably come close to replicating his above average play at Michigan. Sadly that’s the unrealistic ceiling unless he’s traded to the Pats.

Mazi needs to work on his hands. His hands are too slow, it doesn’t matter how strong he is if his technique is lacking. He should watch how the Top NTs play

Every Michigan game I watched....and it was a lot.... he just wasn't a factor.

You should be able to watch college games...and not even know who the players are....and the true difference makers should pop on film...they should be obvious. Mazi just blended in...even in college. So mazi is doing exactly what every football person expected him to do...just be a continuation of what he was in college. It's not Mazi's fault Jerruh took him 2 rounds too early

It's the Cowboy 3 year learning curve for DTs.
I think the same learning curve applies to the TE drafted this year too.

The problem with waiting 3 years for the TE to develop is he'll be 48 years old by then..........isn't he super old now?

Definitely needs to work on his hands.

He needs to train his hands to not puck up Pizzas, not pick up donuts, not pick up mac and cheese and fried pigs feet.

He can't train his mouth not to eat them...maybe he can train his hands to not pick them up.

I would hope that he'd have a handful of moments where we go "oh yeah....he can be a difference maker in this league".

If not a handful....then at least a couple.
