Do I think they have the foundation for a successful year?

Then, yes, I am happy with the Cowboys.

Am I SATISFIED with the Cowboys? The answer is "no, absolutely not".

however I watched the Raiders Monday night and giants on Sunday

I voted no based solely on the team's season record at this point. The 49er loss was embarrassing but I could stomach it. San Francisco is stumbling right now. I hope they totally implode but expect them to right the ship at some point because I consider them a good team with huge upside.

Knowing the team could be 6-1 right now is... I do not have the words. There are nine more games and none are guaranteed wins. However, I hope the team as a whole learned from the Arizona loss. No loss feels good but the lesson taken from that game should be to not perform as badly in another regular season game down the road if it does not go Dallas' way.

An unbeaten streak would be preferable though from this point forward. It would certainly diminish that particular smell of roadkill from 37 days ago.

Hell no I tolerate them with diminished expectations hoping just to see some good football played once in awhile.

My team was the real cowboys the team of the seventies when men were men this team wouldn't make a pimple on their butt.

But this team wears my team's uniform so I stay loyal try and be tolerant as I watch Jerry work the team to his financial gain and our frustration.

I voted no because I am not convinced that this team has demonstrated that it has taken that extra step to compete with the 49ers and Eagles. Even the Seahawks and Lions shouldn't be overlooked. We have some pretty impressive wins this season, but so do the Miami Dolphins. They are 6-2 and have at times looked dominant until you look at who they have played. They don't have a win against a team with a winning record - in fact most of the teams they have beaten have like 2 wins. Their losses have come at the hands of the Bills and Eagles. I am afraid that we are a lot like them. Can beat up the average teams, but when we face a real contender we fall short.

It still feels like the same old cowboys. I really thought we'd get a Super Bowl with Romo. Now he's gone and 7 years have passed. We got this guy... but we're always a day late and a dollar short. That'd be true if we ever get to the damn NFC title game. It takes true grit to be a Cowboys fan. Hats off to all of you. We're worthy fans and we deserve better. Sounds crazy to say with us having a 5-2 record. Heh.
