You guys need to give your head a shake. No team will ever get far with a trash secondary like the Eagles. They can easily be had. They are the luckiest 8 and 1 team. But luck runs out. If we aren’t going anywhere this year, I sure hope that their descent starts now. They sure as hell won’t be winning a Super Bowl this year. Ravens, Bengals and Chiefs would destroy them.
3 fumbles fell in their laps….insane.

Here’s my question to all of these kinds of posts, since 1995 name me one time this franchise had one of these losses and magically fixed their problems with coaching, discipline, etc to make you believe THiS time is different? It’s literally ground hogs day, same thing happens over and over and over, whether it’s week 9, week 16, divisional playoff round.
This ain’t 1995 this is 2023….

And the Cards were missing their starting QB. Cards are 1-8. We have no excuse and it just shows you that we can lose to anybody.
That’s literally everyone. The Eagles lost to the Jets with no secondary….so that argument can be used for them to right?

I know most don't want to hear that after a tough loss like that but this race isn't over.

For those that think it's over after today....did you have the Cowboys sweeping the Eagles? I personally had us 1-1 just like last year. Now what this loss does do is make that a must-win if you continue to win of course. This was the argument I Was making all week when people were calling this a must-win. It wasn't. Sure it would've been nice to sweep the Eagles but that wasn't realistic. The goal was to take 1-1.

They have Chiefs, Bills, 49ers, Cowboys and Seahawks...which includes trips to Seattle and Arrowhead which are typically tough places to play. And at this point maybe you should at Jerry's world to that list because shockingly they are on a 11 game home win streak which I had no idea about until last week.

We have Giants, Panthers, Commanders and Seahawks before we meet back up.

So fans.....calm down. The trust test for these two teams hasn't even begun yet.
I'm extremely disappointed in all ways I'm sure everyone else is but no way I think that anything's over we're still a really good team we proved it yesterday we almost overcame all the bad calls the no calls a lot of issues with the offensive line and no run game and the defense once again laying a giant egg and yes I'm going to say it our three losses were more to do with the defense than the offense seemingly everybody here was all over the offense earlier in the year I'm sorry what I'm seeing out of the offense is Prescott trying to carry this team three straight games without much help and the defense just letting themselves be walked down the field on the first drive of every game and almost on the first drive out of the halftime of every game and instead of giving up field goals they gave it up 4 touchdowns I mean great defenses do not do this...

Seriously people need to be realistic here it's our defense right now that's boom or bust if they would have got some of those fumbles the game would have been different but that's who they are if they don't get turnovers they are an average defense very average they have a lot of talent but that talent is boom or bust... It's either they're making the really big play or they're giving up the big play...

Chiefs lost to the Broncos etc. Yup it applies to everyone
Exactly. Now we can admit those were bad losses but we can’t admit the Cardinals was just a bad fluke loss? Especially for a team that typically takes care of bad teams?

Jets are 4-3 now and in second place in the AFC East. They have awakened. We caught a break playing them the week after the Rodgers injury. They have obviously regrouped since then.

You can make excuses as we do after every loss but the fact remains that we are more likely to lose than Philly who seem to find ways to win close games. We find ways to lose them.

Technically yes, but that means you’re banking on Dallas winning at least 3 out of the 4 games vs Buf, Mia, Det, Was. Philly has 3 gimmes in the last month.

We caught a break? They just beat the Bills the week prior….

Look at how you sound you make excuses for everyone but your own team. So the Jets is a good loss even though had the Eagles done what they were suppose to do they’d be 3-4 right now.

But the Jets loss was good despite missing Sauce Gardner, Reed and others….but the Cowboys are the same team that lost to the Cardinals….

Oh for sure. It’s gonna have to be done before those last three games. Those teams are terrible.

Yes true, but after that the easy pet is over we play real contenders. And we know how we fare against quality opponents.

The point here, Sherlock, is that the jets loss is a better loss than the Cards loss. Your excuses for losing the cards game are laughable.

Oh. Oh wow. So its a "better loss" lol. Ok. Well you got me there. So you'd feel better about losing to the Jets week 2 then losing to the Cardinals....great. How about not lose to either one of those dogs?

And I had no excuses. I gave a explanation for why we lost but it was a bad loss I've said it time and time again. But you read what you want. I can't argue with people who think one loss is better than another. But then wants to argue that last nights loss was bad lol. But losing to the Jets is good. Yeah this ain't for me.

I would love to see the team split the division wins but the truest test is a possible third meeting between Dallas and Philadelphia in the postseason. There is a likelihood now the team will be 0-2 to the Eagles in the regular season. That said, it is not an impossibility for Dallas to do a New York Giants and win that third head-to-head when it matters most.

That capability is fully in Dallas' hands though but it also means the team must play better, more cohesive all-around football though. Offensive line blocking is one hurdle the team must improve upon despite what it has shown to be capable of to this point. Steele in particular.

It is the primary active roster area the front office should have addressed before the trade deadline--no matter how unlikely the prospects of successfully trading for a starting quality tackle were. That was the sole responsibility of Jerry Jones to make happen. To pull a rabbit out of a hat that did not exist. GM's review holes in a team, with coaches and scouts, and fill them. No one else.

Now, the team must succeed without that assistance. I hope that they do.

The imaginary clamping down occurred twice in the last 4 minutes.
Odd because I watched the secondary give up play after play after play and get bailed out by Steele failing at pass blocking. If that is their secondary clamping down then they need to buy some new clamps because they are broken.

Division is over.. its just not official yet. The question is- what is our seed in the WC?

The answer is- it really doesn't matter. We'll lose to a winner on the road. It's our brand.

So the silver lining is they have really tough games and we have really easy games coming up? We need tough games. Every team philly faced this year brought their A game, including us and they only lost one. Why bring this up? Because they are battle tested, they have a target on their backs and every team has been gunning for them. I guess beating bad teams is great for stats but regular season stats don't do anything for you come the post season. We need to win tough games against good teams. We need character building wins. Should we throw in the towel, no, but lets not make the fact that we have a bunch of bad teams coming up and they have a bunch of tough games coming up our rallying cry. We need to beat the best teams not the worst. Teams waltzing into the playoffs with powder puff wins generally waltz right out.
