Watching Bryce Young and Panthers offense this morning a couple things stood out: Pass Pro is poor Not much separation down field Limited run after catch Bryce can't help those things but he does need to speed up a little bit. He's waiting for college open instead of pulling trigger when guys are NFL open.

Young is built like an average size WR or corner. Physically, he doesn’t fit the eye test for what you’re looking for at QB. The Panthers have to really be kicking themselves they passed on CJ Stroud. I heard the Texans tried moving up for Bryce Young but couldn’t do it. Lucky for them! Regardless how it’s gone for Young and the Panthers we can’t sleep on them. We can’t allow Young to look like the number one overall pick on Sunday. It’s an absolute must we win our next two games because we have a brutal 5 game stretch after Washington.

bryce young stinks

idk what panthers was thinking with that trade up and pick

bryce young does not have 1 singel plus physical atribute for a nfl qb

body/size no, arm talent no, legs no, foot work no

he look like a little kid

they say he have a super processor and super high iq idk about that one!

Yep.... I was watching the Panthers game this weekend and he is just bad. His accuracy is awful. When you see Stroud play it makes you question wth they were thinking. The GM and coach of the Panthers will be fired before next year is over.

It's almost impossible to truly evaluate Bryce Young in that offense. With that said though I don't love what I see, which has really only been 1 Panther game all year plus some highlights. I don't see anything that he really does at a high level, of course that could be a different story with some mechanical changes as Kurt Warner alluded to. His best trait that always popped off the screen in college was his patients. The guy was always calm as can be, head down field, and let the play come to him. He also played in an offense that had him work through his progressions too and read the entire field. In the NFL and especially with the Panthers there are two issues with that....His Oline isn't able to give him what Bamas line gave him, and two he doesn't have the playmakers to get open. Bryce Young feels like the ultimate boom or bust NFL qb as he showed a lot of the intangibles in college you want to see in your QB, but the physical traits simply are lacking. Undersized, goes down easily, the ball often looks flat in the air which could partially be related to his size IDK. Most QBs will have 4-5 inches in height on the guy plus another 2-4 inches in arm length. He may have to change his throwing motion to get more arch on the ball than other QBs or see a ton of INTs over the middle in his career.

well, he's the same size as kyler murray.. kyler got a second contract.. i doubt his size is the issue , simply he's just a raw rookie..... some players can come right in and be solid like Dak and Stroud and others need time to develop... i mean maybe my memory is flawed but hurts struggled his first two seasons, fields as well... some of it's just learning the NFL game and some of it is you gotta get some talent on those teams.. might lok better with Cmac and Dj moore.. that a gm issue.

When I watched Young vs da Bears I said in the thread that Bryce was playing way too slow. It's very evident. I wouldn't blame any player on the Panthers Offense in the passing before the QB gets right.

Dallas defense will feast if BY doesn't change his play style before Sunday.

Easy to look good in college when half of your teammates will go play on Sundays eventually.

Alabama's talent level is absurd relative to its competition, and Bryce is experiencing for the first time the lack of a supporting cast, namely a competent OLine and defense.
Outside of Tua, has ANY Bama QB really shined in the pros since Namath? Maybe I am forgetting one...

Not many. You have the old heads Namath, Stabler and Starr.

Younger guys are Tua and Hurts
