IMO (a) their evaluation was incorrect; and (b) the fact that they were engaged in that kind of evaluation at all renders meaningless the entire regular season.

And I stand by what I said, they would have made exactly the same decision even if Travis were fit as a fiddle -- because that is not the real reason they did what they did.

ESPN wants the SEC, so ESPN gets the SEC.

The rest is noise.

If there is any justice Michigan will wipe them off the field.

And btw, I am from the NY metro area where no one thinks college football is a real sport anyway. I certainly don't have any personal interest in FSU.
The Wolverines wet the bed in last season's CFP, while their conference rivals gave the defending National Champions all they could.
Let's see what the Maize & Blue do against the Crimson Tide.
Huskies versus Longhorns.
New Year's Day should be must see for college football fans.

ESPN talks about Cowboys, Cowboys and Niners so much I didnt even realized Green Bay still has a chance to win the NFC central

IMagine if this was teh Cowboys down to the Packers 21-12 with the 3rd quarter winding down. This place would have people's heads exploding.

On second thought I don't want the 2 seed if it mean playing Green Bay
Really? Much rather start the playoffs with 2 home games than 2 road games. And who knows, maybe the Eagles would beat the Niners at the 5. Sure they got killed today but I give them a better chance than any other NFC team.

They have a chance to win the nfc north. But it would require the lions going 1-3 down the stretch. And winning out themselves.

So it’s very slim.

This game and the Cardinals beating the Steelers earlier today is exactly why it’s absurd for fans to think Philly winning out the final month is a forgone conclusion.

It’s the NFL, the difference between teams is marginal. This isn’t college football where talent is skewed. Any team is capable of getting a win every week.

Philly has been in 1 score games all season. Win next week and it’s on.

To be upfront- PIT lost their starting QB Pickett in the 2nd quarter, replaced by - Mitch Trubisky.

Pickett stinks anyway.

We just saw Hurts go out for a bit today. Nobody knows what the injury situation for either team will be in 2-3 weeks.

Injuries very well could help or hurt the cowboys chances of getting the 1 seed.
