Offsides for offense or defense is dumb, how does that happen

And yet I see it happen every weekend in all the games with the officials only calling it occasionally. I think the inconsistency makes players ignore it or try to milk it(DL).

Mahomes is no longer the golden child. He just said "it was an embarrasment to how the game ended today." Basically complaining abotu the refs. How about you look at your player who was obviously offsides. Refs didn't make him line up wrong. Yeah it sucks that you lost because of it, but how about you look at your team and not the refs from an obvious penalty. That's some loser stuff right there.

The coach said it was an embarrassment, which is an embarrassment by itself.

i haven’t seen any games, but I’m chuckling every week that the Chargers lose. They have a supremely talented QB, but it just doesn’t matter if you have issues with receivers, OL, defense, and coaching.

Exactly right.

When I was younger I blamed refs all the time now I’m like take responsibility for your play. A lot of fans in here should remember that too.

If I recall there was a 3-0 game involving the Dolphins and Steelers about 15 years ago, but that was played in a downpour.

This LV-Min. game is worse.

If I recall, that was the game with the punt that hit the ground and just stuck in the mud.

Maybe the receiver should have looked to the line judge for verification of his alignment, as most receivers do every play.

Yep, Tolbert. And didn’t realize the refs are supposed to warn you. Odd.

I’m fine with criticizing the refs when they make a bad judgment call. Which happens often. But this, it was clear as day, no judgment needed. He was offsides.

I mean I think it’s a silly thing to begin with….in someone wants to say we haven’t beaten a good team fine. Fair. But the whole hasn’t beaten a team with a winning record is just crap.

Herbert isn't supremely talented. He fails over and over again when he has the ball and a chance to win. Remember what he did against us to end the game? That is what he does with the game on the line. But for some reason, he gets all these excuses. He puts up fantasy football numbers but isn't a winner.

They need to call out mahomes and fine the heck out of him. That wasn't a good look at the end of the game trying to go after a ref. He looked like an emotional child. I lost all respect for him.
