Mahomes is no longer the golden child. He just said "it was an embarrasment to how the game ended today." Basically complaining abotu the refs. How about you look at your player who was obviously offsides. Refs didn't make him line up wrong. Yeah it sucks that you lost because of it, but how about you look at your team and not the refs from an obvious penalty. That's some loser stuff right there.
Here's my issue with the call. The rules state that the offense need 7 players on the LOS. The two players at the ends need to be on the LOS, not behind it, not close to the LOS. Toney was right on the LOS.

On the other hand, a neutral zone infraction states that a defender can't be even with or over the LOS at the snap. But it doesn't mention the offense. How do you justify telling players they need to be on the LOS, then flagging them for being on the LOS?

He wasn't on the line of scrimmage. He was past the center and off sides.

It looked like he wasn't past the LOS. And they didn't flag him for being past the LOS, they flagged him for being in the neutral zone. Even with the LOS.

They flagged him from being off sides bruh you are 100% wrong literally no one is saying he wasn't past the LOS. The official said he couldn't even see the ball he was so off sides.

Just because he couldn't see the ball doesn't mean he's offsides. It means he's even with the ball. Guess where the ball is? It's onsides!!! The ball is on the LOS. So was the WR. Look at the rules and how they are written. On the LOS means on the LOS. Guess what's also on the LOS, the ball!

You are literally the only one arguing that. You are wrong. The official says it was blatant. Everyone says yeah he was off sides. He was past the ball. Even then, he's lined up wrong. Did you even play football?

Dude, just look at the rules and how they are written. This isn't hard stuff. If you can read, you can understand. He was not offside, he was flagged for being in the neutral zone. He was on the LOS like the rules state he should be. If he was over the LOS I would agree with you. But he wasn't. Why wasn't he? Because it was a neutral zone infraction.

Just because I am the only one saying it means nothing. The truth is the truth no matter who believes it. It's not the truth by majority opinion. What are the written rules, and what did he do to break them?

How are you the only person in the world that is saying that its not off sides. Everyone, even the coach and players are saying he was clearly off. This was so egregious they had to call it. Look at the pic above. How can you not say he was off sides? Don't even try to argue angles lol. His foot is clearly past the yard marker and the ball is clearly behind it. He is off sides.

Yeah, you're right. I thought they called him for being in the neutral zone. In that pic he is clearly at the yard marker, and the ball isn't. So he's just flat out offsides.

Part of being a QB is making sure everyone is lined up correctly. If we want to assign blame assign it to the WR first, then Mahomes, not the refs
