The game didnt matter to them. They are locked in for the division. Moreover not get his team tired by playing overtime in a game which doesnt matter for their seeding. He was trying to install confidence in his offense before playoffs in a playoff environment.

dont forget he went for it on 4th early on the, was it the 2? That would have won the game. McCarthy is bad too, its a trend. Luckily McCarthy hasnt been burned yet. Cost the Chargers coach his job, I doubt the analytics said go for that last 2 pointer on the 4. Campbell is a fool

That was ridiculous there’s nothing calculated about going for it either he’s just don’t it to do it.

He's a great coach and even better person. He made a few poor football decisions tonight.

OK, I can see going for the first one, sure.

But kick the XP on the second after you blew it with like 3 types of penalties. No reporting, uncovered lineman, illegal formation.

He should've just ran the play that worked the first time and make sure the OL is eligible. I think he just wanted to get out of there because they weren't going to win in OT.

This was a huge game for the Lions. If the Eagles lose once, the tiebreaker for the 2 seed goes to Dallas.
