Barnwell's All Pro Team, 5 Cowboys make the 1st team

Martin is going off rep. His play this year doesn't merit him being on the team as the best guard. Heck you can argue Tyler Smith has been better. It's still so weird how bad our run blocking is with Tyron, Tyler, and Martin on the oline.
It doesn't look like it will get any better either. It has to be the blocking scheme right?

Saying Barnwell is voting Martin in on reputation is laughable. The guy studies film weekly.

Here's what he says on Martin.

Offensive linemen sometimes receive accolades well past their peak, if only because there's no common measure we can easily rely upon to judge their performance. Ask around the league and talk to people who are watching linemen each week, however, and you'll hear as many raves about the 33-year-old Martin now as you did five years ago. Enough of the physical tools that allowed him to play left tackle in a pinch are still around, and he has seen everything opposing defenders can throw at him by now.

Some college tackles who move inside at the NFL level can struggle with their strength or ability to hold off bigger defenders; first-round pick Peter Skoronski is dealing with that right now for Tennessee. Martin was one of the conversions who adapted immediately. He ranks fourth in run block win rate among guards this season. It still seems impossible that the Cowboys debated between picking the future Hall of Famer or quarterback Johnny Manziel in the first round of the 2014 draft.

Dak inconsistent against the Lions? LOL. Hopefully this guy don't vote for the All Pro teams.

Dak is #2 in MVP according to most sites, meaning he'll probably be 2nd team All Pro.
1st team: Jackson
2nd team: Purdy

I can't argue it. Especially if you account for character.

That would be something.
We've only had 2 QBs make All Pro
Staubach a couple of times (I think) and Romo in 2014

It's going to be MVP Lamar and then either Purdy or Dak as 2nd team. Allen's 42 TDs might get a few votes, but probably not enough
Mahomes has had a down year and Burrow missed the season so that opens up some room

I guess Bland gets the nod because of 6 plays overall because his overall play is certainly not even close to ProBowl level, much less All Pro.
His overall play is Pro Bowl level let alone All Pro level. The best corners in the league get beat on occasion but he's made plays against some of the best receivers in the league. If Bland isn't All Pro/Pro Bowl then I don't know who is. He earned it.

QB All Pro vote will follow same pattern as MVP vote. If Lamar and Purdy are first and second QBs, there's your 2 all-pros. Isn't it the same voters too? LOL
