Ex-Patriots All-Pro Hints Bill Belichick Joining an Unexpected Super Bowl Contender in 2024

Top-tier OL? Belichick isn’t about to work for Jerry. Belichick will want full control of personnel and that will never happen with Jerry.
Nor should he have it! Belichicks record on player acquisition sucks.

Here’s what I don’t get: I could be way off on this assumption, but I don’t see Belichick simply going to a playoff team and “making them more disciplined.”

Wouldn’t he want to shake up the organization’s footprint from top to bottom?

He’s never been about self-promotion, hype and a top-heavy roster of highly paid “star” talent. How is Dallas a fit?

Edelman emphasized the Cowboys’ top-tier offensive line
That is a media driven lie that has been foisted on the general fanbases for years now. Once upon a time it was pretty much true for a minute or two. But those days are long gone yet the media persist on saying what is no longer true as if it is a fact. The line has issues out the y zoo and a oline coach that is not in touch with what MM is trying to achieve. Square pegs in a round hole is the norm around The Star not the exception.

Listen to asante samuel of you want belicheck truth not the guy who owes his entire career to Bill.

When the offense was stagnant up until after the bye week, McCarthy made changes and adapted. Bill Belicheck wouldn't do that. I'm good with MM

During an appearance on FS1’s “The Herd,” former Patriots player Julian Edelman dismissed the idea of Belichick joining the Carolina Panthers but instead suggested that he should consider coaching the Dallas Cowboys. Edelman emphasized the Cowboys’ top-tier offensive line and talented roster, suggesting that Belichick’s presence could bring fundamental soundness to the team and improve their performance, especially Considering some of the issues with penalties and clock management that current Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy has faced.

Smart by Edelman. Bring up the Cowboys you will get attention. Stephen A. and Dan Orlosky became stars because of this philosophy.

I say he stays with the Pats until he retires.

How did he build all those great championship teams if his player acquisitions sucked? You might want to go through the list of great players those teams had.

Belichick is done. He and Brady had the perfect storm in New England. That will never happen in the NFL again. The closest thing to it was Jimmy, Jerry, and Troy. There's also no way he and Jerry could coexist in Dallas.

Wouldn't surprise me if Bill go back to the basics and go back as an coordinator or a position coach. Way less on the plate and still get paid.

Just what the Cowboys need a more to get to the SB, more out of control NEPOTISM GONE WILD with Belichick and his clueless two sons coaching the Boys in 2024.

What ex-players and coaches say we have a top tier oline?
Is Edelman not an ex-player? I've heard Romo praise the line and others as well when we have all five of the starters out there.

The closest thing to it was Landry. Jimmy was around for a blink of an eye compared to the tenures of Belichick and Landry and Landry set many of the records for winning Belichick chased.

Well I live in Pa and there are rumors swirling that their coach has lost the locker room and is getting fired. There are also rumors of a surprise NFC East shake-up.
me too i live in york, from harrisburg

I love the idea of land him, but cannot see Jerry moving on from MM after 3 straight playoff appearances and a divisional title if they win tomorrow

You're usually on point but you'd regret this if it happened. He's not a good coach.

Yep zero chance he’d work for Jerry. Couldn’t imagine that ever.
The Commandos think they are getting them.
Can’t imagine he’d go to a situation without a good QB although they may give him full control over personnel. Problem is, he can’t win there. Chargers make the most sense to me, maybe even Seattle if they are serious about ditching Carol.
