The 'No' group is usually full of members simply wanting
to advance further than last season. Nearly all of them
actually make that statement.
A lot of those members analysis on Dak is "he sucks" lol. A lot of those guys have already come out and said they hold a grudge against him for personal reasons mainly being he took Romo's job and they blame him. Some of them are also Wentz/Eagles fans.

After several recent years of inconsistency and disappointing crunch time performances, I said yes after several 'no' votes this season. That will change if he spits the bit in the playoffs.
Having said that, I have noticed marked improvement this year following the Cardinals/Niners games. He has traded in his Corolla for a Corvette and has been leaning on the accelerator.
Translated, he has stopped playing like he's afraid to make mistakes, and is playing like a man on a mission. The stats are nice, but are not the most important aspect of becoming a top tier QB.
He and McCarthy have teamed up with some very good results. There is more to accomplish, and I hope he does.
The proof is in the pudding for both he and McCarthy, and it's time to make it or break it.

@Risen is the only one of those

The Dak of last year was not my guy but he has turned it around. Yes I am happy with Dak.

I mean let's don't kid ourselves. Dak could win a ring and a certain group of this fanbase would still dsicredit him.
And if he does not win a ring, a certain group of this fanbase would still shine his shoes for not winning a ring. Don't forget, that coin has two sides on it.

I was one of the ones highly critical of Dak. At the time it looked like he was regressing, and I had huge doubts that he could turn his play around. But he has. He's playing extremely well.

I mean isn't that what you should do? If he plays well he should get his proper respect. If he plays poorly he should be held accountable for it.

I don't really think it's been a roller coaster season. It's been poor OL play, and for much of the season Dak not being himself.

Not sure about that one. I'm sure there was a lot less "Yes" votes.
Not even close. That first poll, if I remember correctly, was something like 85% no to 15% yes. The next time Dallas won it flip flopped a great deal. People were voting simply on their week-to-week emotions. I voted no then, and I voted no every other time after that. He needs to prove he can get the job done in the post season, only then will I consider changing my vote.

Some want to say Dak is having the best year of his career. The truth is he had a better season in 2019 yardage wise. Yes, he's thrown more TD's this season, but 2023 is in no way his best year.

If a loss against the Packers would make you change your mind on McCarthy, why cant we reserve our right to change our mind with Dak once he gets us to the championship game?
The actual answer to this is that it is incredibly stupid to change your opinion about anything based upon a single game sample size.
