I never thought he'd leave. Once out of this protective cocoon he'd be exposed. He's got it good here and he knows it. There's zero accountability.
Right. He looks good next to Jethro and Son but he’d be exposed out there. Entirely too many misses in draft especially on defense.

Most GM’s wouldn’t survive his time here. His best hope out there would be hiring a great HC.

But yea, why would he leave here. Fans think he’s why we are relevant and interesting but don’t hold him accountable for lack of more success. Win win situation.
