Your defense needs to keep things close enough for the offense to kick in gear. This is how you play it.

If the Texans can force Jackson to have to make plays from the pocket, they could make this a game into the 4th quarter.

The blue print is pretty well established, make Lamar Jackson throw the ball within the structure of the offense and don’t let their defense beat you.

Less than half Jackson’s passing production comes within the normal structure of the offense. Their offense is pretty anemic when he’s throwing the ball consistently from the pocket.
