It’s funny how the ravens morph into a different team when the playoffs start. Who do they remind me of……..

His size was the biggest red flag. They got enamored with his playmaking ability but he was playing on the best team in the country. The talent around him made him look better than he was.I still don't know how his size didn't scare off teams till at least the second round. No way would I have took him before that
And the thing is, Young is not just short like Kyler Murray or even Doug Flutie way back in the day. Young is the smallest bodied quarterback I have ever seen on an NFL field. Some of the hits he took this year I have no idea how he even got up.I still don't know how his size didn't scare off teams till at least the second round. No way would I have took him before that
Focused on rebuilding a team rather than trying to always make sure his face is in the forefront of the media. Unlike our GM.I don’t know who the Texans GM is but he did a fantastic job rebuilding that team in a hurry
You don’t take the risk unless you’re desperate. They should’ve stayed with Mayfield but they had a crap team around him. The team they have was a bigger is than the QB.There are no guarantees. That's part of the deal.
I say we give Bryce at least 3 years but Mark Sanchez, Blaine Gabbert, RG3, Ryan Tannehill, Deshaun Watson, jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, Mitchell Trubisky, Dewayne Haskins, Daniel Jones and etc.On the other hand Bryce Young is why drafting a QB high is a big risk.
I am actually enjoying the playoffs better now that our over achieving Cowboys let us down again, and again and again and again.Yeah these neutral game threads are kind of the best ones on CZ.
He’ll get at least 2 more years but I don’t think he’s the answer. They passed on the answer. They gambled and lost.I say we give Bryce at least 3 years but Mark Sanchez, Blaine Gabbert, RG3, Ryan Tannehill, Deshaun Watson, jameis Winston, Marcus Mariota, Mitchell Trubisky, Dewayne Haskins, Daniel Jones and etc.
The list goes on with failed first round QB's.
No the numbers are what they are - you best bet of getting to a SB is with a QB drafted in the first 2 rounds, especially the first round. You don’t take the risk unless you’re desperate. They should’ve stayed with Mayfield but they had a crap team around him. The team they have was a bigger is than the QB.
That’s what you need in those times.Lamar like ... "We aint screwing up this chance like the Cowboys did."
I'll do it myself.
