Saturday Divisional Round Games

This closes the book on the whole 'Stroud is elite' conversation, Good rookie season? Sure. Elite? Not even close. Got zero going on offense today.
Eh you cant really make a team that has no great playmakers look great against a team that does. Schultz is the only top 10 skill position player they have and he is borderline. None of their WRs I would say are top 25. At some point you need to surround your QB with talented weapons (like the Ravens did this year) but Houston did not really expect to be needing to do that this soon.

Yup. Give him a year or two, and watch out, though!
Could very well be elite one day, sure. We'll see how he does the next few years, especially when coaches now have a whole year of film on him.

Baltimore wore down their defense all 2nd half. Offense contributed none today.

If Quinn leaves, how about we make the Ravens DC an offer he can't refuse, and line him up to be the next HC after McCarthy?

Just a thought.

I do think the Cowboys could benefit from some more youthful, innovative coaching.

He's still not close to being elite, though.

Ravens DC is almost certain to land a HC job. People seem to want him badly.

Also the scary thing is that is just this years all pro's. When you look at the past you have players like LT Stanley and CB Humphrey and TE Andrews who are also former all pro players still in their prime. Just a loaded roster.

I want to see them find a way to trade for JJettas

On the contrary Nico Collins was a beast at WR this year. So was their rookie Tank Dell but I think he's hurt.

Nico Collins and Tank Dell are going to be a problem for years to come. They’ll probably add a WR3 next use too

I’d argue Nico Collins is up there however. He also has an injured Tank Dell.

They will be legit next season

He can't make a lateral move (e.g. DC to DC move). He would have to be leaving for a HC position or some hybrid that is a promotion.

It's the Ravens defense. I don't expect Josh Allen or Mahomes to have an easy time against them.
That is kind of the point of being called 'elite'. Showing up against really good teams. Beating the Colts or Browns doesn't crown you that. This is when those talks heated up. Especially last weel. He had a very good rookie season. But there's a big difference in good and elite.

So a team can be successful without All Pro's all over the offense?

Run the ball, pass protect and not an All Pro in site.

Maybe Lamar really is the MVP.

ok, can we say his rookie season should promise that he will be an elite player sooner rather than later?

Nice to see a team take care of homefield advantage. Texans didn't stand a chance in the second half.
