Ron Rivera the DC this year and the new HC next year.
I live in the DMV......Commander fans wanted him out long before the season ended. If you have problems with Big Mike.......Riverboat Ron wouldn't be bringing much to change those problems. Would simply be a "recycled" move.

I hear Zimmer, Vrabel and Marvin Lewis are free
i get that the club may opt for a vet DC, .. a proven past success C that hasn't been away from the game for several years

Which of these apparent DCs are best fit for Parsons & Co. ?
Mike Vrabel ?

Lewis hasn't coached in how many upon many years ? (decades?)
That's a risky Mike Nolan DC all over again.

Pretty sure there's a sizeable part of the fan base that wanted both gone. Hell, I'd go one further and even include MM in there.
Much of this fanbase wants the two biggest reasons for our three straight 12 win seasons (The turnover margin created by Dan Quinn and Dak Prescott) gone. This fanbase is full of abject morons.

Rivera seems like the guy to replace him, but Vrabel is an interesting thought. The defense has multiple all-pro's and some nice supporting players. Clean up LB and add a couple of linemen and either would have a much better starting talent pool than Q had when he took the job.

Fairly late in the hiring process and our HC is on a lame duck contract….wont be easy to find a good DC available. Fully expect someone to be promoted within.
