Dak Prescott Is Going To Reset The QB Market

that sucks. at some point this QB market has to stop the craziness. if this happens, which it very well may, then the next one is 65 and 70M is right around the corner. then its going to end up you either get lucky and have a QB on rookie deal to win, else you are just going for selling Jersey's to recover your 70M per year.
It’s not going to stop as long as the revenue and Cap continue growing and increasing.

Think of it like paying your lead actor in a film or sitcom. That’s entertainment!!

We are in the Dark Ages of this franchise.

Id rather re-live the Campo years than pay this bum $60m a year.
This bum in our owners eyes is still top 5 in jersey sales. And we continue setting revenue records . It’s obviously apparent why he’s All In.

As expected from the cowboys. Jerry will never "rebuild" as we stay semi relevant to continue the money printing press. Stick with our own guys to long and afraid of FA. Wouldn't be any other way.

Jerry like some posters on here simply happy with regular season records and stats. Loser mentality from the country club

Any real football organization would have moved on from Dak or would have at this point if they wanted to win a superbowl.

Still will watch....lol

I also posted long time ago the cowboys would make the championship game this upcoming year 2024 and people would flip flop there thoughts on Dak like the monthly polls around here.

Almost that way already. When was the last super bowl without a QB on a rookie deal included? Hitting on a young QB is a massive advantage.

2024 - Purdy
2023 - Hurts
2022 - Burrow
2021 - Mahomes (I think this was still on his rookie deal? Might have been 1st year of his 2nd contract not 100% sure)
2020 - Mahomes
2019 - Goff
2018 - Foles/Wentz
2017 - You finally had two high paid vets in Brady/Ryan

Broncos figured it out and will be cutting Russell Wilson and eating the dead cap, he already has 25 million dollar estate up for sale in Cherry Hills Village.

Will put the Donks at 50 million over the cap, but several veterans with no guarantee will also be cut and will put them in great shape under the cap with plenty of money to spend.

They are smart enough to recognize a huge mistake and understand that a rebuild does not take that long.

And the dude won a SB. Teams move on from QBs all of the time, yet Dallas is terrified to move on from a guy who can’t beat good teams and is like a deer in headlights during the playoffs. Instead they’re good with participation trophies so hand out another big contract.

The guy has never had to face any competition at all for his spot, didn’t even let the old dude compete after injury, we know why. He’s been protected and coddled.

I think it’s important to own what we are and have become .

Our priorities are out of whack with Jethro. We aren’t like any other NFL organization.

He could have Joe Schmo or Chad Hutchinson at QB paying a fraction of that 60 mil and still be setting revenue records and still be sitting home in January. The guys been making money hand over fist at every turn and is basically swimming in it with the stadium and numerous events but now it's thanks to Dak Prescott?

Good for him...hope he gets all he can. It's hilarious seeing a bunch of middle aged men talking about how he should take less.

Not because but has help provide that relative and competitive product our owner can hype.

I don't disagree. its about the pace and rate of growth. QBs vs. Cap. seems the salaries for QBs is growing faster than the cap.

Easy to figure it out. 2 out of the last 3 years the D had them in the game. The offense couldnt score. 4 total turnovers by the QB that resulted in points.

Not very difficult to ascertain what is the problem here.

I knew we were in trouble when they panned the camera to Dak coming out of the tunnel. He looked scared.
How was our run game in those games?

LOL at all of the whining.

This thread should be named The Whining Thread.
You will create a similar thread when its Parson's demanding 30 million a year. Guaranteed.

I still remember you creating a thread when one of the HOF players on this team sat out. Then proceeded to show the same video over and over of Tyler Smith stopping Vita Vea to prove he was better than Martin lol.
