Already lost the 2 backup DEs in Fowler and Armstrong.

Lost starting LB - LVE for his career

Lost starting C, RB and potentially LT.

Trying to get rid of WR #3.

Still more to come.

Not many draft picks this year and expecting anything after your top 3 picks is dumb.

There’s a problem of simply having enough bodies much less quality ones.

Bah just means more udfas making the roster and some will spin it on how well this front office finds gems after the draft
Until they have to play year 1. Do we all remember how bad Steele was year 1. UDFAs are UDFAs for a reason. They need time to develop. Romo, Miles Austin, Steele, etc.

Agreed, I'm struggling to see how 2024 results in a winning record for the Cowboys. Still time for Jerry to make some moves, but hope is fading fast.
No HOPE..............time for us to digest and consume mistakes of the past and crawl again before we can walk.
Where the heck was this team going by the way??????????????????????????????????????????????????

Yeah, 2024 is starting to look very bad...............hard to think gutting the roster and filling the holes with draft picks is going to net another 12 win season.

I would say we are 50/50 to even get a wildcard at this point................anymore defections and 2024 looks to be a wrap.

Intentionally bad enough to get us mathematically eliminated early, to get Trance some desperately needed experience, resulting in a top 10 pick.

The purge has begun.

How bad are the backups?

An undrafted free agent will be a starter on day #1.

You know those still unsigned veteran free agents that sit around the beginning of training camp to see who gets injured? You know, the ones that should have retired three years ago?

Five minutes after he signs he's on the ground grabbing his knee and gets placed on injured reserve for eight weeks.

Yeah, that guy. He's the backup.

They wanted Dakky poo.

But they didn’t want the consequences.

The last part of your post reminded me of the team bringing back Justin Durant twice even though he was debating to retire each respective offseason.
The first time it was an alright move, the 2nd time you could tell he was checked out.

I thought exactly what you posted when we signed Jason Peters. A forty year old who was looking for an easy paycheck.

Interesting to seewhat the CAP would be if we'd re-signed: Fowler, Armstrong, Biadasz and Tyron.
Did Fowler /Armstrong want the money and DQ ‍♂️, what does it cost us to keep them? Is Badass worth a second C1 type money.....Tyron, uncertain what his market is, he may have to wait until after the draft.

Depth? I am worried about the starters. By my count they need a LB, C, LT, RB, DT, DE and a third WR. Starting quality and outright starters. It’s not pretty.

Crazy that we have very little cap room and very little talent. At this point we'll be lucky to get a team on the field. Depth, LOL.

Didn't do much with them. I am worried about LB and RB depth but that's about it right now.

Hard for ownership to see depth issues when every year they make a comment about this roster being the most stacked since the Super Bowl days.

No conspiracy or tank job going on, just blind management.
