But jersey sales? #15 this time around. No doubt, it's a bad move. The last two years he's averaged under 4 yards per carry. It isn't likely that it's going to get better at this point in his career.
I agree that it would not be a surprise, though.
True ... that is what's important. But jersey sales? #15 this time around.
With this first two statements- why even create this thread advocating for the Cowboys to go get Elliott?I'm not evaluating what Zeke may or may not have left. I don't care to what degree Zeke is a corpse.
.....to what we have brewing right now? We already heading backwards. Pride is going to be the complete undoing of this team at some point.....but the go to move will be to blame Dak.Zeke would be a step backwards.
This hereIf Zeke signed for the vet minimum, plus what we are already paying him anyway, then I’d be fine putting him in the RB room, not as a starter or even part of a tandem, but I’d be fine using him as a short yardage specialist and occasional blocker. If we get a rookie that can fill that role better than Zeke, then he becomes depth.
At this point whata the step foward again?Zeke would be a step backwards.
I'm not advocating the Cowboys get him at all. My thread is to say I would not be surprised for the reasons I listed. Zeke is caput, in my opinion. With this first two statements- why even create this thread advocating for the Cowboys to go get Elliott?
Might can hurdle Vaughn. He has at least one good shoulder shake left in him.
Only if you have a time machine and he could be the Zeke of his first 2-3 years here.I'm not evaluating what Zeke may or may not have left. I don't care to what degree Zeke is a corpse. He is on the good side of 30, available, presumably cheap, and a known commodity to the Cowboys. It has also been reported that Belichick blocked a Zeke/Dallas reunion last season meaning there is mutual interest. Dallas is already paying him $6 million in terms of a cap hit (is that right?). Dallas should be able to make him work based on money earned. I'm still convinced Roy E. Williams washes Jerry's car every week to make good on his contract but that is another story. I guess I wouldn't be surprised if Ezekiel Elliott ended up on the team next year.
Oh man, it would be so hilarious watching the Ewok stumble over blades of grass for 2-yard runs again!!!!!I'm not evaluating what Zeke may or may not have left. And some of the guys we just passed on in free agency were not a step backwards?Zeke would be a step backwards.
Someone is going to say give the ball to Deuce. At this point whata the step foward again?
I would go Emmitt before Dorsett due to age. I doubt he has that 99 yard burst anymore either.Dorsett?
