I am NOT drying to defend Dak, but I'll bet those W-L records are pretty similar for many QB's around the league.
It's not an exclusive Dak thingy at all. Effective running games still matter.

Imagine a team doing nothing the first 3 days of free agency and the QB of that team is still the topic of the show. All about clicks and fans still eat it up.

His mind changes as does the wind direction and this from a guy who listens to his show almost daily. Lost some credibility for him when convincing hiimself that Dak is at his best when we have a running game..umm, so was Troy and so is every other top tier QB in the NFL for the most part. What he failed to mention is that the running game also heavily depends upon the OL which we by the way had none of last year, and less next with many more question marks than ever

It really is a Dak thing. I’ve done the research. Dak is nothing without 100 yards from the RB.
Jalen Hurts has 6 wins in just 2 1/2 seasons.
Mahomes had 7 just this season.
Burrow had 9 last season.
Geno Smith has 5 the past 2 seasons.
Those are just a few I looked at. I’m sure there’s more but I’m not going back past 2021 lol
But yeah, Dak sucks.

Why would Herbert need to, he got 262 million last year, Tua in process of a deal now... he wont need to ask. Allen got 268 million.... smh

This is probably one of the most logical arguments Colin has made. I think Zeke's contract not working out + other teams like the Chiefs that found late pick rb have changed the Cowboy's philosphy. However, with a weak RB class you have to bring in some veteran help. None of these RB contracts were the back breaking ones of yesteryear that Zeke signed. Puzzling why they wouldn't be in on Henry or Jones.
What do I expect to happen? We'll probably go sign some class c rb for 1-2 million. But, just maybe the Cowboys trade a 5th rounder for James Connor. He was on the Cowboys radar in prior years and is now on the last year of his deal. I think that may be a possibility.
