I don't know about you but I've about heard all the Dak stuff I can stand. It's as if he is only player around, not to mention that he is as overrated as they come

I agree that we need to move on from Dak but your title proves nothing. Dallas had a grand total of 3 games of <100 yards in 2016 & 2017 combined. Dak also missed most of 2020 with injury. Using the time frame of 2016-2023 to make a point without adding context is misleading.

I posted in the other thread (where you also posted) that outside of a few outliers, most QB’s have around a 30-35% win rate when <100. If I told you I had a free throw contest with my son and we both made 10 shots, would you think we tied? What if I said I did it in 20 shots but it only took him 10. Using total wins without context is just lazy.

It’s pretty wild to think Jerry didn’t improve the RG, when the combination of Pollard and Zeke in 2021-2022 was the most devastating combo in the league, both averaging over 5 YPC each until Dak returned from injury and faced Denver, who proceeded to trounce us and Dak went to playing like crap.

I still remember when Dak threw it over 40 times, only to get outplayed by Wentz, after the Dallas rushing attack walloped the Rams and Commanders, both Pollard and Zeke rushing for over a hundred a game, after Dak was sucking it up when the offense started tanking around a little less tan half the season.

We’ve had great rushing attacks, we’ve just had an average QB that gets exposed every year and the personnel gets wasted and we have to go through a rebuild.

Well just to be fair, it has been the HC and play calling, and game plans that get them beat most of the time.
You are not looking at why did we not have a run game when they should have had one.

Dak isnt great, but it isnt all on him, to win the games.
My main problem with dak is he wants elite pay and he isnt worth that, but even that isnt his fault, it is the jones boys.

Dallas has had bad HC since parcels retired and the jones boys and their puppet coaches have been the problem since 2007.

Burrow is definitely an outlier as far as win % but <100 yards rushing is the norm for Cincy. They have had more games of <100 yards rushing in the last 3 years than Dallas has had in all of Dak’s starts. That’s why context is important.

And everyone doesn’t have to be a Dak lover to push back when analytics are skewed in an attempt to prove a point. I am certainly not a Dak lover.

Burrow was 5-4 as a starter last year? One of those wins the Bengals did rush for over 100 yards so he did it 4 times last year. Although 2 of those 4 wins came with the offense only scoring 17 points in one game and 19 points in another. The defense should probably get a ton of credit for those 2 games.

I'm not trying to defend Dak because he has not lived up to the hype in big games against teams making the playoffs.
