Lot's of things have gone great! Thank God.....as for the Cowboys, not so much. But, I don't worry to much about it. Coming in here is my daily soap opera.
Getting Kendricks was a good, lucky move and getting Rico and the corner was good for the price.

Getting the 2 spot and then getting blown out at home in the first playoff game by a 9-8 team… success!
In most cases they would have won that game. Their offseason was not a disaster when they added Cooks and Gilmore.

Are you ever listening to yourself? They didn't win. "Most cases" don't matter. The season was a failure just like the two before it. 12 wins mean jack **** when you can't compete in the play offs.

Jeez.

Lol, it's a new year. 31 teams are not going to win. If Chris Jones doesn't make a play, the Chiefs don't win either.

In most cases they would have won that game? This wasn't an upset where the underdog kept it close, got a lucky turnover and kicked the game winning FG. The Cowboys were completely dominated on both sides of the football from the start. I get the Cowboys won 12 games, and I get that this isn't a bad team, but I think we are fooling ourselves if we think this years playoffs was just a case of having a bad day.

Can’t put my finger on exactly what or why, but it just feels as if this is all a precursor to a championship season.

This is how it’s all put together, no?

They aren’t “close,” and they aren’t in the midst of building something that hasn’t yet peaked. They had their window and blew it by being cheap and doing things like relying on Damone Clark instead of paying a few extra bucks for a leader like Bobby Wagner.

These two are so unreal awful at reading the room it leaves me little hope moving ahead. Whatever with it already.

From what I've collected the Cowboys are still the #1 valuation in the NFL, jersey sales were excellent last year, and we are going to fill 10 needs with 7 picks in the upcoming draft.

What more do you want?
It's Magic!!

Maybe I have missed something but it seems like this offseason is even a bigger disaster than most.
I've been waiting for something positive to happen but I don't see any light at the end of the tunnel.
We are lied to by our ownership telling us we're going to go all in and we do just the opposite.

We used to be able to at least sign our own guys.

The price we have to pay for a quarterback seems to make it impossible to compete in free agency not that we necessarily would anyway even if we had the money.

If I'm back Dak I'm using some of that big paycheck to buy some heavy duty insurance since I've made it impossible for us to have an offensive line I would at least get medical protection

I'm thinking this might be a good time to take a break from the Cowboys and just wait for the draft maybe something good will happen there.
In the meantime I'll be waiting in anxious anticipation of our next tight end or injured player taken in the second round.
I agree. It’s has been a terrible offseason. Maybe Zimmer because I think he represents a huge upgrade over Quinn but it’s hard to get excited because this is clearly a lame duck coaching staff. They just don’t have enough picks and cap space to fill the holes at LT, C, RB, DT, DE, and LB. The one year deals are creating huge gaps in the depth as well. Dummy Stephen thinks he is being smart with those but the reality is players don’t want them and salary inflation makes those 1 years deals more costly every year. I think darker times are ahead. Sucks to say but hard to argue.

Roster is thinning out due to 5 guys taking up half our salary cap. Really poor cap management by the front office. Team is being asked to do more with less next season. Combine that with MM lame duck status and we could see a terrible start to the season resulting in a midseason coaching change.

Except for signing the LB,
This off season has been a dumpster fire.
Actually started with our playoff loss and is gaining momentum.
Can't wait to see how we can screw up the draft.

Signing the corner and the backup running back were good moves. I can't wait to see what players we get in the draft.
