I have never been embarrassed to be a Dallas Cowboys fan.
You have to admit it has changed though. I remember people hated on me for it because the Cowboys were always winning. Now people almost feel sorry for me. I do not get the same reactions at all that I used to. I feel like a Browns fan.

Me neither. They used to hate me for being a Cowboy fan. Now they laugh at me.

The last 3 years on playoffs.. I mean the Zeke at center play and it's result.. hard to beat

But I will take this year's loss to GB. We did something truly historic here. Then add in the following response. Everyone either kept their jobs or failed up (DQ and crew).

I don't like be man-handled so the '85 Bears beatdown sticks in my mind, giving up 266 rushing yards in Buffalo this year leaves a small mark, the latest Green Bay playoff offering, and this year's off-season coupled with the fact that moving forward No. 4 will be under center. All embarrassing ties.

First game at the new stadium, Monday night against the Panthers (2009). My buddy and I decided to chug Jaeger right before we go in. I got so drunk, all I can remember.is going in and taking a picture.

Apparently, I was passed out in my seat, only waking up here and there to yell, "ROMOOOO!" I ended up puking on the lady in front of me.

My buddy dragged me out at halftime, and threw me in the back of his truck. On the way there the cops saw us, and said I should probably go with them, and I guess I agreed. Lol. He took me home and went back.

I got those tix from a friend, and his family members were all around us. I ran into one a year or so later. He laughed. It took me MONTHS to be able to laugh about it. I was beyond embarrassed.
Do not so feel bad! Most of us have been there and done that.

The main thing is you survived and was able to tell the tail and eventually laughed about it.

I am 61 years old and there were plenty of times when I was in the same boat!

That Jagermeister is no joke! That stuff hits you like a freight train when you least expect it.

I mean, I been drunk at plenty of games, but that one was BAD. I'm just the goofy dude getting everyone hype, and making everyone around me laugh.

surely you had some moments

Yes there were moments, like how they lost games that have been mentioned. However, my fandom has never wavered to be embarrassed.
Do I like what is going on right now, or the past 20 years, no, but not embarrassed. But we need this change that seems to be happening so far.
I do not buy into the last 28 years crap, as I knew there was going to be some down time after the triplets were gone. Enter Bill to set it in the right direction.
Then Jerry keeping Garrett too long. Maybe that can be considered my most embarrassing times.

Even in 1988 & 1989, working in South Florida, no one gave me crap about how many games we lost. And a few even said, congrats when they won their 1st game in 1989.
Also they said, you got a great coach and a lot of draft picks, you will be back on top.

My worse games, as I was at both, last game at Texas Stadium, 1st game at Jerry World. But still not embarrassed. As posted above, possibly keeping Garrett way too long. Knowing nothing was going to change with him.

hard to pick just one honestly.

2015 vs Carolina when we rushed romo back when he was still pumped on pain killers and he threw like 5 ints
almost all of 2010-2013
Vikings playoff beat down with no oline
Even though we won, that Bills game in 2007
44-6 from philthy

But i think the one for some reason is the most was the playoff game vs the rams. Our defense looked good all season and then we give up record #s to 2 running backs, and of course our offense sputters. I think i legitimately stopped caring as much after that, any other time we lost embarrassingly it didnt hurt as much, its just the status quo now.

Mine is more of a personal nature. I was walking to the old Texas Stadium, We had parked across the street somewhere. On the way there, there was a serious incline underneath an overpass to get to the stadium. I thought I could simply walk down it, but alas, I was wrong. About halfway down, I started to feel the momentum getting faster as I was going down the hill. There was a guy on the bottom of the hill that saw me and tried to catch me, and we both fell. Poor guy. I was so embarrassed. People around me asked if I was okay. Others that followed me decided they would go down the incline by scooching on their bottoms till they got to the bottom! LOL
I messed up my knee really bad. My jeans were torn, and blood was running down my leg. When I got to Texas Stadium, the first thing I did was go to their "first aid" station. The people inside asked me to take off my jeans so they could dress my wound properly. To this day, I still have a scar on that knee from scraping it so hard. I tell people that I took off my pants at Texas Stadium!!

speaking of something more recent, I flew back to Texas for a family event, and the next day we all got together to watch the 9ers vs Cowboys I believe it the sunday or monday night game when we got throttled like 42-10, keep in mind half the family are 9ers fans…so embarrassing that we couldn’t give them a game at least!

I thought it would be interesting to hear from the fan base as to what was their personal most embarrassing moment as a Cowboys fan. here is 2 of mine

the playoff game vs SF where we couldn’t spike the ball in time and lost the playoff game

and the 44-0 beat down by the Bears at home.
For me, the worst was under Romo because of the expectations and the tease he represented. Opposing teams and players just seemed to love to hate on Romo...and that made it all worse. Plus, Romo lost division-clinching games to rivals at the end of the season...those were epic collapses. Don't get me wrong: The Packers game this year would be #1 if I didn't EXPECT us to lose that game...so...there you have it.

Also, I don't get people getting mad at Dak for not spiking the ball at SF...we lost that game LONG BEFORE that play and if he had, we have a .0001% shot at tying that game. Dak sucked the entire game and one timely spike would not absolve him of anything.

I have done the same!

I had friends coming to my door just laughing their ***** off at me and I didn't remember a thing.

At first you are mortified but later you can laugh it off because your survived.

It also a life experience that most people do once or several times during their lives.

2006 Seattle playoff loss - Dallas goes into Seattle and plays well enough to get the win, have a chance to go up with 1 minute left, just for Romo to fumble the field goal snap.
2008 Eagles loss - Cowboys had a chance to win the division, and went in and got pummeled in embarrassing fashion 44-6.
2023 Packers loss - The stars align perfectly for Dallas to be in that position and have a good playoff path. What do they do? Get roundhouse kicked to the face.

To be honest, and I know it's the freshest so I might be a little biased, but I think this last loss to Green Bay was the most embarrassing. Cowboys couldn't even put up a fight against a wildcard team coming into their house. What a joke. This pretty much took out the last air I had in my sails for this team. I find myself not really caring about this upcoming season.

It was one of those moments where you come in as prime middle weight and a NOBODY comess to town and takes your lunch.
