You'll be much happier. I stopped caring so much when my daughter was born. Many more important things to worry about. Salud!I think I got about another season or two of this before I just kind of bow out. Kids getting older so more travel sports for all three of them. I can occupy my time better than watching the old man and his dimwitted, tight fisted son continue to just plod along.
Yes, they need all those positions (though with Smith, Martin and Steele they have 3 o-line guys, only need two to fill out the line, and with Hoffman, etc. they have the bodies, we just don't know if they're any good), but they do have draft picks to try to fill some spots, Overshown is on pace to be back, as is Diggs, they picked up Kendricks already, have Dowdle for a rb, can probably resign Cooks for a wr3, and so forth. All they really need is to use their first 3 picks to find a 2 or 3 starting olineman, 2 starting D tackles, another linebacker, a starting running-back and a wr3. And another corner.....easy peasy...
Post of the day, you have me in tears laughing at this lol loll Jerry stutters and this is Stephen's stutter lolStephen "you know" Jones, I have never heard someone say "you know" more than this clown, which tells me he doesnt know!
They are taking two way players. All they really need is to use their first 3 picks to find a 2 or 3 starting olineman, 2 starting D tackles, another linebacker, a starting running-back and a wr3. And another corner.....easy peasy...
Post of the night lolThey don’t view DT, LB or DE needing starters.
DT - Osa, Mazi
LB - Overshown, Kendrick’s, Parsons
DE - Tank, Williams
We know we can use the help. These guys think we don’t have any holes
Someone will trade in front of us again.
Then a certain mod will spend weeks trying to spin that it was just a coincidence Buffalo traded ahead of us to take Kincaid.
Don't limit yourself we can get more picks than that by trading downAll they really need is to use their first 3 picks to find a 2 or 3 starting olineman, 2 starting D tackles, another linebacker, a starting running-back and a wr3. And another corner.....easy peasy...
I have actually skipped entire seasons. It is amazing how little you do miss it. For me it is the rules and the obvious officiating issues that make the games to frustrating to watch. You'll be much happier. I stopped caring so much when my daughter was born. When they choose once again to not participate in free agency, we'd be silly to expect them to fill their needs in the draft, when they've been unable to do so for 30 years. And maybe Steele will get back to his average pre-knee play of 22, but he was awful last year.Yes, they need all those positions (though with Smith, Martin and Steele they have 3 o-line guys, only need two to fill out the line, and with Hoffman, etc. they have the bodies, we just don't know if they're any good), but they do have draft picks to try to fill some spots, Overshown is on pace to be back, as is Diggs, they picked up Kendricks already, have Dowdle for a rb, can probably resign Cooks for a wr3, and so forth.
Look, I'm not saying Dallas is 'good to go', but it doesn't do anybody any good to dismiss the season as lost in March. We can wait at least until after the draft to see what's changed.
If you want to be all doom and gloom and wallow in despair, go ahead but I try to stay neutral with my emotions until something actually happens....
I'm seeing a strong class at DT. Who is saying it's weak?It really doesn't. Ot and C are strong, sure, but it's also weak at DT, LB, DE, RB--you know, all of the other positions we need starters for
Sure they can get some 4's or 5's. Not likely to be starters and they need a bunch of them.Don't limit yourself we can get more picks than that by trading down
That's fine we need all the help we can get, this will be the cheapest way damn free agency to Jerry and StephenSure they can get some 4's or 5's. Not likely to be starters and they need a bunch of them.
I hear you...i love the sport, been involved in it since I was 9...about 48 years. I watch all levels and enjoy it very much....I just don't get worked up about it anymore...unless I'm directly involved.I have actually skipped entire seasons. It is amazing how little you do miss it. For me it is the rules and the obvious officiating issues that make the games to frustrating to watch.
Was Mazzie Smith best player available last year?Just what I didn't want to hear going into the draft, selecting "Need" over best player available regardless of position is a recipe for disaster...
And I do expect Dallas to move back in this draft because of the dreaded "NEED", they need more players than picks they have now..
And since our only hope to win a Super Bowl is Jerry's Way (the draft and only the draft), it's nice to know it aligns "a little". I hate these two clowns more every single day. That’s is brilliance my fellow fans. How could we not see that the draft aligns a “little” with their needs. That is next level management right there.
The officiating literally ruins games. Now add a Daddy&Son duo who all but admit they don't really care after the worst playoff loss in our history...has me on the ropes, man. I'll be 50 by the time the 2025 season arrives. I just hope I can outlive these two clowns and still be young enough to celebrate wins.I have actually skipped entire seasons. It is amazing how little you do miss it. For me it is the rules and the obvious officiating issues that make the games to frustrating to watch.
The truth is. The cowboys draft for need more quite often. It usually bites them in the butt particularly in the second round.Just what I didn't want to hear going into the draft, selecting "Need" over best player available regardless of position is a recipe for disaster...
And I do expect Dallas to move back in this draft because of the dreaded "NEED", they need more players than picks they have now..
With a talented draft class at the top on the offensive line and other positions, Stephen Jones sees a big opportunity to improve in the draft next month.
