Who? Dak or Minshew?
Minshew would be a fill-in starter and the Raiders wouldn't keep him if they traded for Dak.
It's more about the picks. The hard sell would be to convince the Raiders to want to give them up.
Also, it's all about 2025 at this point. Clearing out big contracts. Martin and Lawrence are probably next.
Dak.

Why would a team give up draft capital for a player who many feel sucks? GMs will just wait for him to get to FA and sign him. Which is what will happen with Dak. He'll sign a big deal somewhere next year.

Make what stipulation? Cowboys don’t value free agents. They care about comp picks and drafting. They’ve shown us this.
It might be too late for this year since most of the top free agents have already been taken. It still doesn't change how Dak needs to show he's "all in" if he truly wants to help the team help get better talent around him moving forward for years to come.

If only everyone could see years of your Romo lovefest on your Twitter account. You fool no one.
So now that reality has hit you it's lies and more lies.
Oh well, I'll excuse your behavior as I know the hurt is real for you.
GL following Daktrash to his new team next season.
If he finds one that is?

I don't lie like you do. You know very well what you have posted for years on your Twitter account. Nothing worse than a habitual liar.

You keep saying this but absolutely nothing we’ve seen from the front office shows that if dak takes less the cowboys would put that money into free agency or improving the team. Dak would likely take less and then the cowboys would spend the amount they are required to spend on the team and then pocket the savings.

Them being inactive in free agency is a philosophical issue, they will not spend in free agency. Dak will be paid top dollar somewhere else there’s literally no incentive for dak to take less here when the team will not put that savings into the team.

Yeah I don’t fault anyone for not bailing this front office out. Take a pay cut so you can give it to the Cedric Thornton and Nolan Carrol’s of the world?

If Dak takes less they’d give it to some 4th tier free agent. We can’t pretend like they haven’t shown us this.

Why would Dak do that for an owner that won’t offer him a contract?
Because him and his agent may be seeking 60+ million APY and if the Cowboys don’t offer that then they can find another team that will. Dak would definitely jump ship to Minnesota or LV if there was a contract on the table for 60+ million with a huge signing bonus. He wouldn’t be doing the Cowboys a favor he’d be looking to get paid.

This. It’s a farce to think dak or anyone takes less so they’ll put it into getting a top free agent. He’ll take less and they’ll continue sign bargain guys and do things exactly the same.

Why the hell would any of these guys take less?
