I agree.Good GM's have a transition plan and we do not.
I agree.Good GM's have a transition plan and we do not.
I don't think CD and Micah's family members are Dak fans. That also means no contract for CD or Micah. So you have to hope they are willing to play it out and risk an injury.
This is why, I believe we seen the negative comments CD and Micah's family members. They know they can't get paid this year.
This is GM Jethro's fault not Dak's.
Jethro is not even attempting to make an offer.
What difference does it make? Next year is a wasted year. Let Lance play then.I don't think that is how this plays out.
Expect Dak to have a 'injury' and miss a significant amount of time.
Yeah, or just start Cooper Rush and let Lance be the backup, maybe look at the draft for a prospect at QB.What difference does it make? Next year is a wasted year. Let Lance play then.
Who? Dak or Minshew?I thought he sucked. Why would they agree to that.
Why would Dak do that for an owner that won’t offer him a contract? He requested and got the no trade clause so he had some control where he goes if the Cowboys were no longer interested in his services. He owes the Cowboys exactly zero. And that’s what he’s going to give them. Right now what is best for Dak, and his agent, is to be released. Last time Jerry played chicken with Dak he lost. They should just dump Dak now and move on.It does feel right and I’m hoping we do trade him to get something for him. Let Trey play this season and stock up on picks for 2025. With Dak at QB 2024 would have been a wasted year because we won’t win the Super Bowl, especially with a weaker roster. I’m hoping Dak blinks and waves his NTC.
1 and done is fun.Maybe. I think a team with Dak, CeeDee, Parsons, Bland, and Diggs can’t be that bad.
Not if you don’t plan to sign him.I don’t think you need a haul. I’m trading my vets so I’m bad enough to get a top 5 pick next year. This team as currently constructed is at least a 9-8 team.
As far as the downside of letting Dak play out this deal? I feel the longer you wait the more the price is.
Locked and loaded...the new ALL IN. lol
Probably but it still making the playoffs.1 and done is fun.
Would this make you happy?Lots of LAUGHS (Not that I care) when Prestrash becomes an FA.
The offers will be slim to none at the $ Todd and Dak want and if he finds a starting job he will fall from grace to the bench before his 1st season.
Just feels like 2024 is a waste of a season as a Cowboy fan.
But the team didn’t get better players when he was on his rookie deal….so why would they do it now?Because Dak needs the help to get better players around him. Plus, $40 - $45 million per year is more than enough for any starting QB to live with. Let's get real now. No QB should be able to handicap a team salary cap-wise just because today's NFL, owners and NFLPA have totally lost control of QBs' ever increasing exorbitant salaries which are crippling teams. It's happening to us right now, yet you choose the player over the team?
If only everyone could see years of your Romo lovefest on your Twitter account. You fool no one.Man, they don't get it and they never will.
It's not about Dak, its about the COWBOYS.
Yes my passions for the STAR are next to none!!!!
Seeing all these years the waste of having such an inept QB keep this talented team from glory was a sin indeed!
The STAR and its GLORY above ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Enough already!
This is true. I’m not convinced they aren’t though. Not if you don’t plan to sign him.
Dak could make that a stipulation. But the team didn’t get better players when he was on his rookie deal….so why would they do it now?
His Twitter was disgusting. He thinks I forgot lol.If only everyone could see years of your Romo lovefest on your Twitter account. You fool no one.
Make what stipulation? Cowboys don’t value free agents. They care about comp picks and drafting. They’ve shown us this.Dak could make that a stipulation.
Maybe he should try playing QBDak does not play run defense.
